We can`t go wrong when our friend Bear is at the keys musiclover38...I really have to commend you for the way you wrapped this one up so perfectly and just let the instruments carry us along for a great ride...really nice work on that short but oh so sweet guitar solo...many of us tend to clutter the music with all kinds of things that don`t really add to what is so real about it...Kudos to you on the thoughtfuilness and musical skill that went into this one....it shows & I hear it.....Ed
When you have two of the best guitar men on the site (Jamie and Ed) telling you how much they like your playing.....well you know you are doing something right.
Man, you tone, technique, everything you do on that guitar is just special. I'm a huge fan and I just want to thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.
Another fantastic song. Thanks for the download as well. I'll enjoy this one many, many more times. Hope all is well.
Well, I am listening to your latest tune here. Sounds really good and out front with the guitar.
It is put together very well and a lot different than my song which is faster and has more instruments, but there are slow and fast blues songs so they all have a place. :-)
I have done a couple real slow blues tunes, one with just slide guitar if you'll search thru my songs, you can find them if interested.
Hey man..I smell something cooking on that old blues stove, and it sounds mighty fine!..traditionally stylised within the electric post Mayall period(100% excellent proof!) played with an undiminished sweetness, you just can't pass this by without breathing it in and thinking..aaaahhhhhh that's gooood!
cheers Dave
Yeah, definitely no criticism here. Just a big fat smile on my face....like hearing Stevie again. You are seriously one talented musician. It's easy to hear that you have paid your dues....you make that guitar come to life.
Thanks for the download! I will enjoy this one again and again and again. Man, I'm a fan for sure.
Hey SBM, thank you for your kind words. I'm ecstatic and humbled at the same time, by the comments I have recieved by you guys and girls on LM. I means the world to me and makes me want to do better every single time...
Man, you have some serious guitar chops, and this song sure shows it. I have always been a huge fan of the Allman Brothers, and I think you could sit in with them on this one and fit right in.
Absolutely wonderful tone and technique. I definitely had to add it to my favorites. Really, really well done. Welcome to the Loop by the way.
You're quickly becoming my favourite user on LM :-)
In Denmark we have this unwritten law that we, mostly northern Jutland, live by without wanting to. It's called the "Jantelov" or in english the "Jantelaw" basiclly it's a saying that tells you that you're not worth more than the guy next to you,r but you are making me question that... Thank you for that :-D
you just do music I like ML38...guess I`m into that good ol melodic stuff around nice chord progs with feeling & melody...enjoyed this one....keep on....Ed
Thank you for that input, and you could have a point. Some b3 could add shine to any track. Unfortunately I'm not much of a keyboard player :-/ But could put some time into it next time around :-)
and ain`t the blues the greatest genre for a playuer to get that feeling into the music...and you do it well here....great job....know the feeling....Ed
That's what i'm talking about. Something with some feeling. Love both guitars. It's just... blue.
Like it a lot man. Only thing that comes to mind in the vein of improvements is maybe some "breakdowns" in the drum kit would make it sound less like a drum machine. This is a good track man. Good work. Keep Doin' it! J.P.
Thanks a bunch :-) I can't take credit for the drums or other guitar though. It's a jam track I found on the net. But You're right just the same ;-) Maybe I should do do one with some breakdowns :-)
I like it the way you`ve got it musiclover...very tasty & well times lead lines around that little chord prog...If I was going to add anything...1st thought would be a little Hammond B3 organ ...but there`s always been a strong appeal (for me ) in themore minimal approaches.....great job....Ed
an intense track, and visualising track.
I like it, maby it is an also a idea to work with a little orchestra in the middle of this track, i think it can add also to your guitar play.
great job
Thank you for the nice words. Orchestra in the middle? Very interesting idea. I'm actually working on a version right now with room for other instruments other than guitar, and maybe some lyrics too, so thank you for the input. Time to figure out how Kontakt 5 is working ;-)
Thanks! You're right about a version with much less guitar. This started as a chord progression, and I just improvised until I came up with a sort of hookline (the little thing that sounds like "Say you say me") and than I improvised over that. But now I'd totally love to do a version with some lyrics, so I guess I'd better get to work ;-)

Thanks for the praise! I really appriciate it. I will definately browse your uploads then ;)
Oh, and the reason I like slow blues, is that I can't play any faster than I do... he he

I'd just suggest if you're gonna collab on vocals to maybe do a version without the lead guitar to give the vocalist room to sing.
Great job, great (sad) vibes :-)
