on Equality come back to me Extended mix by crucethus
Dude! That intro is already so good. Very atmospheric and even a bit spooky. Draws you right in and makes you want to follow along. Then when the beat starts 45 seconds in (and it doesn't feel that long at all) it feels completely natural. The guitar caught me unaware but of course it fits!

The end comes to early for me and I think I wanted that last chord to sound out longer. What do you think?

Very cool track!

Thanks Mate, "Always leave them wanting more!" ...P.T. Barnum. I do have a longer version of this one.

on Equality come back to me Extended mix by crucethus
Good morning. It was exactly what I needed to start the day. A very powerful track, built with wonderful elements and sounds. The combination of analog instruments with electronic ones has always been one of my favorite blends. You created a strong Organic House piece, with the right progression of intensity and emotion, everything placed exactly where it should be. Perhaps, right around the 1:00 mark, you could slightly adjust the timing of the two pulse emotions, at the point where one enters into the other. That was actually one of the parts I liked the most. It is only a tiny detail I noticed it because I first listened through the monitors and then listened again with headphones. Amazing work, my friend!
With appreciation,
Chris

So the 1:00 min mark is a carefully planned counter rhythm method I have used before. If you noticed, the resulting combo almost gives you a "running up that hill" 16-beat cadence. But thank you for the props. I have loved Analog and electronic ever since Ultravox! (Jon Fox, not Midge) and Gary Numan days.

Thanks Mate. I was able to record this one 26 years ago on a Sony MDMX minidisc recorder (4 track) and recently mastered it in Acid Pro. I love the Korg MS2000 as a synth and especially as a Bass instrument with modulation and pitch wah.

A very powerful track. The bassline froggie is fantastic, and the keyboard parts are flawless. As always, my friend. Very well arranged and perfectly balanced. I really enjoyed it.

Steven! Genius employing the Froggie on the synth bass lol! So the driving 4 with the ethereal background def works for me. Those keys tho! You worked this and then some. So you've done it again! Really good music.

Steven that beat is slamming! Ambient that drives the CRU way. So ok you got me at 2:10! Bass/drums/fire percussion! What more could I want? Sax? Toads on the Mike exit? Thank for my evening music fix!

Great track, spooky in places. Is that second section microtonal? I've been listening to those crazy Canadians too! Very creative and great sounding piece you made here. Cheers Chris.
crucethus
crucethus replied 1st Apr 2026 - 4 months ago
Thanks, Mate: So the second section has some microtonal ideas through using glissandos.

Hello! This is an interesting track, it's like ambient with some other genres on the top of it in different parts, like the drums in proper metal style, and then techno / acid - good creativity!

Hi Steve!
Good to hear a cool one from your lab after a long time!
The well-known progie sound as just you can do it ... that rockish drums from 0.40 is outstanding ... it made my rocker heartbeat ... :-)
welcome back, hope all is well with you ...

Danke
