Thanks a bunch:) I had wondered if the vocal delay was a bit much. But Marty said it was good, so we I trusted his judgment and we kept it. Ya, we decided to make this one sound kind of like it was played live. Even though the recording was done in a house. The Acoustic Drums were recorded in the Garage and the signal was sent upstairs to the Mickie 32-8 and Mac Recording Suite. Not quite far enough to get any discernible delay on the drums though. Guess it takes a few more stories to get a natural line delay. I wanted to put more mics on the drums and make them sound better, but Marty didn't have enough HD Space on his Mac for any more Tracks. I Should of just bought him a bigger HD... Ya, I like your Nightmare track, I think a few changes will truly make it better.
Vocals sound powerful on this track, I like the delay is just right for this too. btw, thanks for the reviews on my work, and you were right about the Nightmare track, that part sounded too punky for the song I'll have to work on it some more.
Thanks!:) I really like the music Marty came up with for this song!:) I think it fits very well with my lyrics. I appreciate the positive comment on my singing too:) I always think... I could of done that better...
Thanks for the comment and advice. Ya, I wanted to do more with the vocals on most of the songs on this album. But we ran out of time. Marty was selling his house and getting ready to move and his studio was in his house... This was actually supposed to be the scratch vocal. I was going to go back and re-record the whole thing... so your so right...
sounds good but may i recommend you lay another vocal track over your original, or even if you can get some back up on the chorus parts would help it should be sitting just on top of everythign else imo.
