Awesome track Billy! The beat is banging and it creates an ill vibe. I’ve always really like the words you speak. They always have so much meaning. And that’s what the music is missing these days. I just hit the 4:20 mark and it sounded like it switched to a boy band track for like ten seconds there. I like it, it just through me for a second, lol. Anyways it’s a great track. The mix sounds pretty good too. Really nice work as usual.

Shatner the lyrical Magyver, thanks for dropping by.
The original title was 'Street Titans' but after working on it, it became what it is now.
Yes that 4.20 switch was just to surprise the listener, no 'One Direction' stuff.
Just mixing on my computer speakers bro, nothing flash.
Take care brother. - B

Really great work Billy.....has this epic cinematic feel to it...definitely a track that would work really well in a video game, or as an intro to a movie.

You never disappoint Billy, your work is always spot on and this is no exception.

Outstanding effort. I hope all is well.

Haha nice one brother Bear.
Maybe a movie intro, can't really see it in a video game but all welcome.
Yes, a cinematic trap fusion.
God bless brother. - B

Everyone has their own tastes and i like the spoken words as they are easy to understand and get the meaning of the story in clear vocal.
NICE WORK my friend and keep it up :)

Killer track as usual, it's good to hear some awesome artists working together like this! The previous comment, at least to me, showcased the difference between hip hop and spoken word. I would probably have put this under spoken word, it's more of an open genre, poeple don't judge as harshly. All instruments and parts are performed well! Exciting track!
Billydragon1
Billydragon1 replied 12th May 2014 - 11 years ago
Hi brother Pat. Howz it goin' in your neck of the woods?
Thanks for dropping by.

Yeah I had 15 tracks of instruments running on this song but in the end I had to mute 5 tracks and kinda went for the simple and effective rather than the crowded sound.

It's always the genre that gets to me but cool I will change it to spoken word. Did you know that hip hop is now a religion and it has it's own bible too! Such is music. Blessings cuz. - B

Hey brother. It's all good.

I had this unused poem so this was it!
I liked the track too but it had no soul until the words are spoken into existence.

Peace my man, - B

Loving the title and the atmosphere it provides. Really does sound like eastern combat music, with a touch of meditation ambiance.

Oh my! This one is epic! Really love the atmosphere and the lyrics. Maybe track ends too abruptly? A fade-out would work well, IMHO. Cheers!

Hey there Neobane. I'm still around in the shadows like a ninja!

Yup, know what you are going through. I made 2014 a year to change DAW. I hate procrastinating. Mate, just invest in it. I did not do any Christmas shopping, instead waited until boxing day when everything was up to 60% off then I went shopping. Magix 18 was one of them. So far am happy with it. I guess it all comes down with what you use it for. As for me, I needed something that was easy and quick to arrange music to for my poems/ philosophies and short stories. Two hours is what I allow for one arrangement and per song may contain up to 16 tracks.
Yeah man, get Reason 7, there's no reason to hold back. Always move forward. Should pick it up quick since you are familiar with Reason 5. Alternately, download a Reason 7 demo and trial it out.

Peace ma man. - Mr.B

Billy if as a stranger(like me) U had heared your voice u were convinced about this fact that your voice has a depth & makes listener image a thoughtfull person that U're as I see ( just honesty U should have a better proununciation) especially according to the matters U select as subject of your spoken words .and I want to say maybe it's because of this trait of your beautifull voice that whenevr your musiX goes to chillouT,your package ( music+words) sounds more impressive for me & finds more conceptual dimensions.
best wishes for U for 2014 talented Brucelee musician behnd that monitor in that faaar country .take care.___Behnam

Thank you for your deep comments and best wishes.
Yes this was an old poem about helping people who are imprisoned by their own pride. Pride can be a dangerous thing as one can block the world from helping them.

We can see a person as the world sees on the outside, or we can see someone as God sees them, on the inside.
I wish you all the best for 2014.
Take care brother Behnam.

Steve ma man!
How's the sales job going?
I'm loving this little new toy. Good investment I reckon.
Oh and I got a free soundpool download.
The only side-effect was the malware popups that has hijacked my browser Chrome.
I can't seem to get rid of them - tried Malware, PC Security, SuperAntiSpyware. They keep coming!
Now I am using Explorer instead as my browser which I can turn the popups off on the tools menu.
Anyways ..Whooohoo .. Team Magix... here we go! :)

Really Loving the harmony of this Beat, Beautifully Laid out, the Vocals are a tiny bit loud and the delay makes it a tad bit harsh but I loved the Message and Its a Great Song! 2 Thumbs up for Sure!
