Nice sinister vibe. Mixing heavy music genres is always good, so this deserves like! Nice track mate!

Much appreciated, man! I really wanted to push that dark, sinister energy to the limit with this one. Combining the heavy metal elements with trap beats is very cool, so I'm stoked you enjoyed the execution. Thanks for the like and the support!

Well, this is a first for me. Trap metal is a thing from now on. Great blend of the two genres and very well executed. Vocals would be a great add, but maybe also a small break would be very cool on the track. Nice job!

I agree with danke below. I would love to hear some vocals with this one.
It has a cool vibe. Like someone is coming to whoop up on me. :)

Flat2Forge replied 9th Jul 2026 - 1 month ago
Thank you, man! Love that you described it as 'someone coming to whoop up on me', that's exactly the kind of dangerous energy I wanted to capture. And I 100% agree with you and Danke, this beat is practically begging for some wild vocals to finish it off. Appreciate the listen!

Wow that start sequence is so futuristic and different to anything I heard before - you may think it is strange but I felt some influences of The Clash 'Should I stay or should I go'. The trap flow with the Angelic choral against the brusque steely edgy bite of the guitars is really something v unique

Wow Kay, what an incredible review! Comparing the start sequence to 'The Clash' is such a fascinating and legendary perspective, I absolutely love that. So happy you caught that unique balance and appreciated the flow!

Very dangerous track ... it could be some trailer or movie soundtrack music ... that minor sound gives that deep, heavy sound ...
you should get somebody on the mics ...
hats off,
Danke

Flat2Forge replied 9th Jul 2026 - 1 month ago
Thank you, Danke! 'Dangerous soundtrack vibe' is the ultimate compliment. I completely agree with you on the mics, this track needs someone aggressive on the vocals to set it completely on fire. Hats off to you too, bro!

Big track, and you kept all the layers under control very well. A definite throwback to the early 2k rock, a 10 out of 10 great track.

Very atmospheric track with some tasty synths. Love the vocoder, I've played around once on an old track with the free TAL one. Seems to work ok. That cuffed guitar is sweet too. Sounds is top notch. Sweet track all around.

It's very difficult. There's so much airtime. There's a real lack of perception, but a genre is a genre.
Flat2Forge
Flat2Forge replied 16th Jun 2026 - 1 month ago
Hey Alex! Thanks for the honest feedback, man. I completely get where you're coming from, especially with your classic rock background.

That 'airtime' and the space in the track are actually a huge part of the nu-metal. Unlike classic hard rock where the energy is a continuous wall of sound, this genre relies heavily on those big gaps and sudden drops to create contrast when the heavy guitars finally kick in. It definitely requires a different kind of perception to digest!

I really appreciate you taking the time to listen to something so far off your beaten path and sharing your thoughts. Respect, man!

Hi.
At first I thought... okay, this is a bit too much for me. But after the intro, I could handle it, lol. When it comes to this kind of music, I'm more of an Iron Maiden person.
But I listened to your track all the way through, and it has amazing sounds, and you really have to be able to put this together. I can't.
My compliments.

Flat2Forge replied 16th Jun 2026 - 1 month ago
Hi Rita! Thank you so much for giving it a chance and listening all the way through, especially since its a bit outside your usual style! That means the world to me.

Up the Irons! Iron Maiden are absolute legends, so I totally respect where you're coming from. Nu Metal can definitely be a bit of a shock to the system at first, lol, but Im so glad the sounds and the production kept you hooked after the intro.

Your compliments really made my day. Thank you for your open mind and your awesome feedback! Cheers!

I have just leant what Nu Metal is ;) The quality of this composition is immense - everything has a wonderful pulsing energy for the beautiful vocal
Flat2Forge
Flat2Forge replied 16th Jun 2026 - 1 month ago
Hey Kayos! Haha, Im absolutely honored to be the one to introduce you to the term 'Nu Metal'! Im pretty sure youve probably heard bands like Linkin Park or Evanescence at some point without even knowing that was the name of the genre!

It means the world to me that you enjoyed the track. I was really aiming for that 'pulsing energy' by locking the heavy guitars, so knowing that it creates the perfect space for the vocals is amazing feedback.

Thank you so much for your continuous support and for always dropping such thoughtful insights. Much respect!

Hey Robin, thank you so much, man! It means a lot coming from you. I was really trying to find that sweet spot between heavy guitars and modern trap elements for my first dive into Nu Metal, so I'm stoked that the mix of synths, drums, and guitars resonated with you.

I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and your continuous support, brother. Have a great week!

I LOVE that slow Country twang you have permeated through this - adds a whole layer of extra sadness - cos we know them country folk sure do suffer, right?!
Flat2Forge
Flat2Forge replied 12th Jun 2026 - 1 month ago
Hey Kayos!

Thank you so much! Really glad you caught and appreciated that slow country twang on the guitars. I wanted to blend that raw, melancholic string vibe with the heavy trap elements to give it that extra dark, suffering edgeand you know how it goes, nobody brings that kind of sadness to a melody quite like the country style! Haha.

I love the sounds you've created for this piece. Something very evocative and deep for me. It's the Hammond, an ancient weapon of the elders wielded skillfully slays me every time bro. Give my Love to Spain. I spent many a good year in Andalusia and Extramadura. I miss it dearly.

Hey Sounders!

Wow, what an amazing comment, man. Calling the Hammond 'an ancient weapon of the elders wielded skillfully' is honestly one of the coolest phrases anyone has ever left on my tracks. I'm absolutely framing that! Glad that deep, evocative vibe hit you so hard.

I will gladly pass your love to Spain! Andalusia and Extremadura are beautiful, magical placesno wonder you miss them so much. The sun, the culture, and the food here always inspire that extra touch of soul.

Thanks for the awesome support and for taking the time to write such a poetic review, brother. Much respect!

The sound is impressive, with a deep, vibrating bass and a cool guitar tone that adds a unique character to the piece. It could use a bit more development, as it feels like it deserves at least another minute.
Best regards, Anthony
Flat2Forge
Flat2Forge replied 8th Jun 2026 - 2 months ago
Appreciate the compliments on the bass and guitar tones, Anthony!

Regarding the duration and structure, that's actually the whole essence and DNA of modern Trap. In this genre, the main melody is meant to hypnotize through repetition, and standard beats rarely go over 2 minutes because they are tailor-made for an artist to ride the wave, not to sound like a progressive rock piece.

Best regards, F2F!

Wow, thank you so much, my friend! I absolutely love that you caught that 'Modern Americana Noir' vibethat dark, cinematic, and atmospheric feel was exactly what I was aiming for with this piece!

Really glad you enjoyed the guitar tones and that 'shmoov' bassline, I spent a lot of time locking that groove into the mix. Getting an 'outstanding' review from you means a lot.

Don't let Juan Carlos down there lie to you, I think we've made him a new fan of this type of music lol. Ah, but that's one of the coolest things about music in general - other music creators, the good ones, always know when a song has been done well, regardless of its a 300 year old Concerto or the latest Horrorcore Rap or anything in between. My approach to vocals is similar, it doesn't matter to me if only one person ever hears it or 1 million people, I always push myself for consistency and give it 1000fort everytime. Same as you guys.
I like the Key this one is in, idk why I just really like Am lol. One of my favorite songs is Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains, and it starts in Amin, so I think that's why. Your drums have evolved since I first heard your work, too.
Flat2Forge
Flat2Forge replied 7th Jun 2026 - 2 months ago
Man, this comment genuinely made my day! You're absolutely right, that's the magic of music. When something is crafted with real passion and effort, it transcends genres. I love that you mentioned 'Down in a Hole' by Alice in Chains, that track is a masterpiece and Amin just has that dark, emotional weight that hits different. Also, thank you so much for noticing the evolution in the drums! Ive been putting a lot of hours into refining my rhythms and bounce lately, so hearing that from you means a lot. That mindset of pushing for consistency and giving it 1000% every single time, whether it's for 1 or 1 million people, is exactly what keeps us authentic. Thanks for always bringing that real producer spirit to the community. Let's keep forging!
