Thought I was outside for a good minute there. Real, breathing instruments. So chilled out, the minds worries volume died down for a bit and felt something of peace or mind at ease. Janis vocal bits here really added the human element to natures natural tone that gave a mystic transportation of your clever mind. Your peace shows us will power tuned in. Advanced meditation for the stimulant of free mind. Great work friend. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

This one really takes me out there. That is the goal in chill music is to transport the listener to a different place, hopefully tranquil. You have succeeded. The vocals are very haunting and add a sense of human-ness to the natural sounds and almost sound as if mother nature is calling out to her world. Awesome quality production. Great job to you both and thanks for being one of those that does it for the love and passion of music.

Lol as you know or should by now,i cant replicate!

I cant read music either, but i do play guitar n keyboards but im self taught.!

I have to feel my way through what i produce, and hit n hope really,as i just put sounds on lines and tweek to my own vib,so if i like i can try any genre, but i have to be in the right frame of mind!.

Doing this as a way of encapsulation my feelings gives me a buzz, because the next day when i play back, even i dont know how i managed to make it sound ok...lol

Thanks for dropping in and leaving your kind comments.!

Im still smiling as the world rushes by!

Hi,It's your secnd track which I've listened to .
28 seconds beauty seynth intro is enough to present groovy beat Intro in best seconds.then @seconds41''synth bass accompaniment was a proper sound coloure to take us to seconds57'' , when powerfull beat rhythms gets on our notation train .
then,@1':37'' (also @ 2':33'') such a reverse acapaella machine mellody was one of the iinovative moments in
track .also @2"47''such melodic synth was a good Idea .
& at last @3':33'' impressive rhythm was an on time persuation for me to make me follow track till the end .
& fade out was a good Idea for make me accompaniment track till the end .
I enjoyed it ,welldone & groovy track , very better than making music just for fun man !I think you're tallented.
Bestwishes for a kind & gentleman.

Ah, Nixon was definite proof that anyone could be president....we know how to pick them for sure. I lived in the redwoods in northern California for almost 7 years. Sorry I missed all the meetings, hahaha. Could have been fun.

Loved the energy on this one. It definitely got my old motor running this morning. Keep pumping out the hits.

Outstanding work.

Great track mate, got myself some new speakers this weekend and this track was played at full volume and it sounded sweet (although the track in general is pretty quiet, do you do any pre mastering/mastering?)
Anyway it has a nice pumping feeling that defiantly got me in the groove.
Not sure if my neighbours enjoyed it as much as myself but they will be hearing it again regardless! :)

Wow, this one is special. You are so good at constructing beautiful music, and then when you insert the vocal stylings of Janis, well, I'd say it is pretty close to perfect.

Loved the guitars in this one, just the right amount of verb and delay. Beautiful mix my friend. I was totally immersed in this one from the very first note.

Stellar work and a huge tip of the hat to both of you. Well done.

Big thanks bear!

Nature is my church and kind friends are my guiding lights.!

Sometimes theres so much more to the world than Debt,War and control,Which are all being manufactured.!

In the 80's n 90's it was all about saving the Animals.!
But today we cant save the Animals,as its more about trying to save the very Enviroment and habitats that they cling on to.!

Man Needs to understand he is Still Part of Nature.!

Thank you so much for keeping a few kind words, and offer them to me regarding my music.!

Im Always Trying to get some type of message out withing my music, from the titles to the settings and moods.!

I ask no more than for others to enjoy!....thank you!

you werapped Janis`s great pella up in a warm blanket of great sound brillbilly....a lot of peole like exotic places & shopping malls...my idea of the perfect vacation is to go out into the wilderness where you will meet nothing that nature did not put there...I do it for a week every year...its food for the spirit.and I talk to the trees...This music would make wonderful company on my trips but I take nothing that communicates or makes sounds not made by nature....very nicely done you two...Ed

Thank you Ed!

It's great to know that others are still in awe of mother natures beauty.!

Shame so much greed has taken away.!

So much that nature offers, and never has nature asked a price!

but how sad, that the price mother nature now has to pay for that beautiful gesture, make my heart bleed!

Life love n unity to you and your loved ones, including any house plants, lol

Aw Billy ... that's so aerial and beautiful ... !!
I'm a nature-lover too and your track makes me think of what Tatanga Mani once said in one of his speech :
"Don't you know that trees talk ? Well, they do . They talk to each other and they talk to you . Trouble is white people don't listen" .
He was an Oglala Sioux chief and I admire him a lot .

Your track talks a lot to me, I can feel those birds caressing the egdes of my heart while walking next to you through this sacred landscape .
Thanks a lot Billy for this pure moment of bliss and emotion . The guitars are so gorgeous ... !
Big kisses to you,
Janis ;))

Awww thank you janis,im real pleased you get my tranquil visions.!

For me,im more an earth child/well older elder.lol

A free spirit that follows no religion.
not a hippy as such, but i respect the ancient pagans more than i do modern ideology's and indoctrinated systems they call education!.

Nature and myself will always be a unity of love and respect.

Theres nothing more calming than just dreaming of utopia and maybe a more balanced way of life with nature being given rights too.!

Thank you again for giving me all the ideas i need just from your beautful tone in your voice.!

Im just a middle aged free spirit that loves nature, life, people and truth!

Not being able to read music,i think gives me a much better ear,as i can hear sweet songs every morning from nature weather permitted, but the down side is all i do are 1 offs and i can never re-create any of my tracks,i just go in to a mode and listen, then just feel my way through.!

I just do what i like the sound of,but the biggest bonus is having people like it to,it just blows me away as im just novice that puts things on lines, lol

Thank you again for your very kind words!

Like the beginning reminds me alot of "Ten City - Thats the way love is"

Bass is good to, some of the notes resonate a little so it may be worth putting each chord on there own track and eqing them on there own other with that resonant peak will be a rite pain to remove without effecting the other notes in the bass.

Really liked it, thanks for sharing bro :)
brillbilly
brillbilly replied 8th Jan 2013 - 12 years ago
Hi spudsy..thanks for the tip.!

I think i could do that, but being a novice i would probly bugger up the whole thing lol

I just make music as a happy hobby n keep the enjoyment factor as high as poss.!

I cant read music and i cant replicate what i do as i just do it from what sounds i like.

Being an old school loving amateur,i think all my tracks have some sound issues in them, but im not bothered really as getting any of my music liked is fantastic as it is!.

Thanks again for you tip,and i dont take offence to it,i think its great that your giving me helpful advice so big thanks.!

Peace man all the way!
