Thank you Guillotine :) Yeah, I had a slight panic attack... lol, but after hearing some great perspectives in the forum, I've reconsidered. I'll have to get the acapellas prepared for this one and will upload them sometime soon. Thank you for the interest!
Hello Ms Bunnie. Couldn't agree more with everyone else's comments here, really is something else. Have listened to this many times over and has lead me to come up with an interpretation.
Tho a little different, and not necessarily in line with what the general consensus might consider desirable, nonetheless is something that holds true to a generation of party goers.
Would you have any interest or objections to a version that involves pitch shifting and increase in tempo? It would be something that I would have to pursue for a few days at least and would entail pushing my own boundaries. It would involve editing your vocals and the instrumental would be masked. With your permission, could I possibly post a remix here on Looperman? Credit given to you of course.
your voice...your voice is more than beautiful ! also composition is perfect, i would like to get more accapelas of you and create something with it. ^^
well, wish you'll excuse me for late commenting.but according to my tendencies about Acoustic genre,I really enjoyed it.beyond all admirable materials wich makes this perfect package, and also good lyrix, it's quite sensible that we're listening to someone who sings by deep senstion, and it's a really lovely point in all musix for me.Best wishes & regards.__Behnam.
You know, I generally hate listening to my vocals, But this is one of my favourite tracks. I think you nailed it on the head about singing with sensation. I poured so much emotion into this track. I need to remember to take that with me for every recording... Thank you for your insight!
well,I listened it for 3 times and it was really welldone.no doubt your voice is briliant, but beyond having a tallented larynx, your considered choosey brain for interval notes as back vocal and exact times that backvocal comes & go was remarkable.proper guitar Arpeggio which combines & sets with that designed beats was fine & beats as a pivod & axis was too innovative, and ja..I really loved when @2':28'' lead guitar comes and animates track again.untold obviously lyrics too was another loudable notable point.just excuse me if a selftaught musician write it but don't you think some Aerophonic Instrument like trumpet or sax too could be added to it?althought it 's quite perfect rightnow too. I downloaded it to listen later again & enjoy more.& should appreciate you for sharing this beauty.regards.__Behnam.
Thank you for this thorough comment Bahnam!
I wrote this last August and have been developing it ever since. Always adding new harmony ideas, and I'm quite pleased with how it's turned out! Very rich :)
And you're right, a few brass shots here and there may be just the extra spice it needs!
It's my third time listening to it in a row and I think I'll have to continue for a while. You should have a warningnote up there next time you upload stuff like this: "Only listen when you have plenty of time."
Ok? Ok.
hahaha! *warning, warning*
I'll make sure to add the warning when I upload the complete instrumental version :P
Thrilled you are repeatedly enjoying this!
Peace.
well,I had listened about you as a new talleted lady in looperman from one of my friends in looperman, and now I can better underestand how he was admiring your voice, cause it's obviously loudable.beside this perfect music ,such good singing makes a quite professional package as a track & I really enjoyed.regards.__Behnam.
I just noticed your reply! Well if that nasal quality is a result of a cold or flu then you shouldn't take any medication! Lol! It's what makes your voice recognizable and it's a rare quality (Amy Whinehouse, Adele, Joss Stone etc.) they all have that element that instantly makes you recognize them and you've definitely got it. Keep on doing music. Best wishes!
Wow Bonnie, like Ed, I can definitely hear an Adele-esq quality to your voice. I love minor chords, and piano, and things that are stripped down and "unplugged." There is room for strings, drums, etc. but this also stands well on its own.
I am a huge fan of your vocals though. You are a wonderful addition to the Loop. I love the fact that you aren't satisfied with this one. That type of attitude will take you a long way in this business. Keep posting the hits. I hope all is well.
I so appreciate your continued interest and feedback on my work Bear :) I've been in a big rut for a few months, but there's something about the loop community that really has ignited my drive to challenge myself.
Cheers!
Nice, totally enjoyed it. Loved the vocals and lyrics. You are quite talented and look forward to hearing more! Gonna dl this so just wanna say thanks for sharing!
Very very good once again! You definitely need a producer and a demo. A bit of work on the arrangement could be needed to better emphasize the structure of the song and make it unpredictable. There is definitely a great amount of potential here and you are obviously very versatile with your voice, I've mentioned before that you have some nasal quality about your voice which makes it recognizable and it can really set you apart from other voices and that is extremely rare.
From a production point of view the song could use some building up structure wise and definitely needs some strings, you can easily build it up into a powerful song with a great, wide and emotional ending with a bit of production work.
This was recorded as I was on the tail end of the flu (same with I'll Be Waiting) but if you heard the nasal in all my tracks... then I guess that is just how I sing :P
I really like the idea of this track, but like I said it needs work. My voice doesn't have the fire the lyrics deserve and it's definitely due to the lack of structure! Still a work in progress so I'm anxious to hear what becomes of it :)
Thank you for the feedback!
Positive attitude evokes more positivity, so never compare your talents to others. See what you have to offer and build upon that. I still feel I need improvement in my writing, but then again aren't we always learning and growing? Thank you for your kind words! :)
