I agree with Rattle, this is a pretty choice track. The rolling synth is almost trippy. The only thing that was kinda off was the vocal sample at the beginning. The drums were tight, but could be amped up in a remix. That whole 'Harder & faster' or what not. Very dance-worthy!
hey man are you rapping this or just mixing tracks? I like the juxtaposition between the funky guitar and the hip-hop. very creative. good to hear something you don't hear every day
Cheers for the review on my track. it's appreciated. thought i'd return the favour. I am no hiphop expert but all your tracks sound as pro as you can get. Love the groove in this one. make some more!
dark, slow grooving and catchy!!!
love that bit ....
very interesting sounds, good structure ...
the rest has been said by the others ....
very very good work!!!
hey!!!!
thx very very much for doing this tune with my loops .... I feel honoured, works very good!!!
tight beat you added, maybe iDude is right, backing vocals are sometimes a little too loud so it looses a little power in the middle ...
but anyway, I truly like this tune ...
you added a little delay to the guitars at some parts of the song, this sounds cool ...
did you check out the song where the main guitar loop originally comes from?? it's on my profile, it's called "put it on", it's also a hiphop track ....
may I ask you to send me the lyrics?? I come from Austria and my english is not good enough to understand everything .... want to get the message!!!
I Love the Beat and the Crafty Guitar.. I also love the timing of the rap lines as well. You should considered making the other rap verses similar to what starts around the 2:56 time mark. Basically.. lay off from having the backup Whhooo and Wow.. backup singers going on while in the middle of the rap itself. If anything add them as fillers at the End of Rap line... Treat those loops like cymbol crashes or something... use them at the end of a complete rap phrase.. where you'd expect for the Main Rap/vocalist to catch his breath.. and compose himself for the next rap or groove. If anything, find loops or lay down back up vocal tracks that sustain the Ahhh.. or Oooo's.. for 4 beats or so.. Kinda like a R&B back up feel. The rap lines from 2:56 really stand out more and better because the backups are not over powering it. So bitch slap the backups and let the Man Lay down the Rap and follow the beat. Did you do the guitar tracks yourself? Love this catchy drive...
