Your absolutely right, I did this quick and by slicing vocals to custom fit track already made. most here wouldn't notice anyway...
There is a way to match tempo using EDITOR. it auto detects and sets what's doable in relation to BPM. it also detects KEY and cents which can be changed full scale. left click corner on stem in playlist, click "edit Sample". left click pointer on the file name automatically set.
