definetely a cinematic track (for me:)). Nice celtic harp and flute at the end - I like it a lot! Good work with merging vocals into the song and also layering the echo - vocals. I am enjoiyng to listen the composition developing. Nice guitar solo.
The song could fade out maybe a little bit slower to the end but it is still fine like this:)
Nice one!

My first thought on seeing such a tiny little waveform is that it should be louder.
But then I got listening and it seems to be OK.
Anyway, this is gentle, lovely stuff. Those harp (?) notes move wonderfully. Slow fade in of bass and something like cello. Vocals are very good and sensual. Who's singing?
Shame you couldn't give some description of what's going on here. Did you play all this? Anything?
2 min and extra percussion works surprisingly well though doesn't make it into a banging track, even though it's pretty fast and busy. Just kind of sits on top while everything else move slowly underneath.
An unusual piece of music that impresses me.
3:10 guitar is another cool addition and it's a solo I like.
Then she returns, along with a flute to finish things off.
Oh no, but the end has been chopped off. Why is that?
Very good and distinctive work. Hope you can answer my questions as I'm interested in this track.
Hi StaticNomad,
sorry for the delay!Real life ha!
So first of all thanks so much to take the time to listen to and remark upon my track.
I'm very much a neophyte in this field of sound mixing and having very limited resources and time makes this a challenge.
Anyway to go through your Q's.
The small waveform is the result of my attempt at mastering, and as you said thought the waveform is rather small looking it still carries the sound well.
the vocals I got from here http://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/6072
Yeah so basically I did all the synthesizers, bass and guitar work with the addition of a couple of loops; the harp sounds and percussion.
Added effects, mixed and then attempted to master the final product.
As for the ending oops, I could add a fade out but hey it's a work in progress.
This is pretty good but the mix is a little muddy sounding. You've got some good ideas but it's just been saturated in the mid range department and there's a little too much reverb going on. That scratch sound is pretty savage and i like the arrangement just ease up on the effects.

Hey, this is a pretty cool sounding composition! In recent years I have drifted away from listening to ambient works, as it's hard to find new ambient that fulfils my expectations. This one pretty much does it for me! My ambient preferences maybe are a little weird, like Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Tangerine Dream... stuff like that... it's hard to find music like that being made now. You've built a really creative atmosphere in this track, and it draws me in. The percussion is really special and original! I appreciate the talent and effort that goes into a song like this, you should be proud! Keep at it! Fave!
Mystical track here..music to the ears. Hypnotic sounds, I feel as if a zen like presence surrounds me. An aura of sounds that echoes through the centuries. Very good ambient track. peace
Um hm, very laid back. I like it for a no work, relaxing Saturday by the patio with a good book on a sunny day! I love guitar, so you could probably sell me a broken one haha, but these work well together.
Those vocals take it to another level, they kinda creep in. Nice job.
Tnx. I find that unless you have a very good system, people can't really appreciate a heavy bass line cause it distorts, so I keep mine a little lower. You can always crank it up on your own!
Cool song, Boon. I like it. The mix is quite well done, too. It really pisses me off when I click on a tune and the bass is so boomy you have to turn it down, than you can't hear the other instruments. All your instruments come through without that irritating 'BOOMING!' Thanks for allowing us to actually 'listen' to your song.

I too think a lot of my tracks are cinematic in that they take you on a mind journey to ...somewhere.

I enjoyed it. The lyrics were good, But some parts sounded off, in a good way, as if it were suppose to sound off. Which is cool.
I really enjoyed listening to this.
Nice work my bro! :D
Thanks for your positive feedback.
the off sounding part is the percussion but as you commented it seems to work so I left it as is.
