Very well done! Catchy track for sure, has a pop sensibility with a dance influence.
As someone who believes in getting to the hook or chorus quickly, I would bring the bass and drum beat in earlier. Long intros loose interest in my opinion, especially if you are looking for "imaginary radio airplay". I know you are trying to go for the big dance genre intro but honestly, those songs aren't on the radio for that reason. It has potential in the dance clubs if lengthened or pop potential if shortened and remixed for that crowd.
I would add a little more bass to the mix too. Not bad for 6 hours!
I am totally agree. The question is: why not half-way? We are talking about imagination, so in another dimension (another life) maybe this track is a planetary success, in the dancefloors the same as in the radio airplay. Never too old to dream :) Thank you for give a chance on this, i got your tips and maybe can fix the fixable :)
Nicely Done, The arrangement and mix is on point. I like the fact the you created a song and not just a beat. Well produced and full of life. Great Job.
Nicolo, I really like your take on this man! The production here is so slick and very polished. Outstanding arrangement with both the music and vocals. I too ran across the same acapella last year and liked it so much I put together a track with it as well. My vision was quite different than yours since I'm a guitar player. I didn't leave it up long because its so lovey dovey and quite a stretch from the hard rocking image I am trying to maintain (lol)! Anyhow, I always find it quite interesting to see how various artists can use the same vocal track and create some distinctively different songs. For demonstration I uploaded my track again and I hope you don't mind me posting the link for you and other Loopers to check out if you would like to see (hear) the different directions we took. Now I'm off to check out some more of your tracks. Again, great job!
I agree with Danke in the sense that it has a bit of a DepMo feeling. But, I think even more so, it’s very reminiscent of Assemblage 23.
It’s a good tune. It’s a nice full mix. Good use of the ‘pellas. It may just be the headphones I’m listening on, but the bass synth seems to be a little buried down behind everything else. Other than that, good work.
You're perfectly right... i forgot to use the deeper bass, to get the bassline more fatty... so, you know, i were sad, i dunno where my head were... in any case, thank you for keeping me up, even if i wrote in description (2013). Now it's alright. Maybe. :)
great brilliance...the Depeche Mode feeling is there no question about it...I always admired those who can write a song on acapella ...I think it's one of the hardest part of making music...cool mix, cool voice, cool music...what else do we need? just listen it and send a review and a fav :-)
Nate has some cool a capellas, I like how you used them here. At first I was sure if I'd like it, sounded a bit too "electronicie" to me, lol. But I try to give all music a chance and as I listened I realized how full the mix was and I(shamefully) put aside my musical prejudices and began to get into it. I see how your description, production and lyrics all came together, sounds cinematic, big, cool!
Found the vocals in the intro and outro a bit cheesy, just not really my thing I guess. But beside that I really enjoyed the chill synthwave vibes. The spoken word travelling from one ear to another was a nice touch.
That vocal mean to be the voice of our childish part, living inside everyone of us, that part that doesn't know what suffering is. The left to right spoken words mean the trouble or the negative thoughts everybody passing through in the path pf life. Open and closing lookinh for love is a wheel that spins, called life.
I am the first to comment??? What's going on Looperman family? I know, I know: trap, hip hop...:-)
Anyway, those synths are on the spot...those melodies are in the ear at first sight...and the concept is fabulous...those vocs, specially Eshar's left to right is magnificient...
Thank you!! Maybe i am part of past generation of looperman musicians, before invasion of trap-maniacs... musically speaking i live in the past so that's the reason why i produce that kind of music... but someone finally get the same shivers i felt when this concept was only in my head... thank you to the feedback you give, that shiver is the reason why i make music!!!
Im glad to be the first play since you're back. Great track, I like the 80's drum vibe in there with the synth.. sounds very dope.. and the name brings it all together. Great track and I think vocals would be great on this but its not available for download. GREAT WORK~~
Thank you Tekreck. About download, it's not a question of jealousy. Time ago, some "famous" artists takes samples, ideas and other stuff from my stuff and from other's stuff too. It makes me angry, 'cause of it some people i collab with delete their account and i believe (until today) i did the same. But i delete my Soundcloud and YouTube account only. Anyway, if you believe to put some vocals in it, work on your ideas and when you clearly see what to do i allow dl for you.
