In my mind it's ok to throw out 90% of ideas. It makes the rest better. But if you don't like anything anymore of what you're making, then it might be time for a break, or maybe some change. Get a guitar. Get a different setup in the room where you work. Go to the local coffee place and write down musical ideas without your gear. Don't touch your setup for 2 weeks.

Usually when you then get back, you'll be full of ideas and more importantly, enjoyment. Enjoying the process is always more important than stressing over the end product!

Parts of this reminded me of U2 A very pleasant, upbeat tune

love the guitars! very shoegaze, can imagie a very nice vocal on this!

Nice vibe! One thing to note is that you can crank up the volume quite a bit (and maybe add a compressor etc on the master).
If you're relatively new to DAWs, check out some YouTube vids about mastering, it can be enlightening, and many of the members here know quite a bit about those kind of things (as in: much much much more than me ;) )

Spice it up with play along from other synths, one-shots, yells, etc, or even an extra melody.

Greetings, This sounded prety simplicit indeed. But sometimes simple things can be interesting as well. Its kinda catchy lightly though. But from my point of view. I do miss diversity and nuances in this track as well as some good variations. Besides that, The melodie is prety basic but catchy none the less. It could be better for sure. But it didnt sound to bad. Verdi

A really good start. Pleasant to listen to. I'm not an expert by any means but I think I may add some sounds that indicate 'breaking thru' at the end - maybe broken glass or a round of bells or sth but that really is just my imagination! Kay0s
