Wow, I am really impressed. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful guitar work and really, really nice vocal work. This is a song that is current and relevant and could/should be something the kids are listening to on the radio.
An extremely nice composition performed really well. When the bass guitar dropped, it was a special moment. Bravo.
I am a little late with this, but welcome to the Loop.
Thank you so much!!!!!!

Great track - I especially like the theme around 1:40 til the end, and the voicings are sweet. Very romantic :) Can I ask what sample library/instruments you used?
Michaela, see my suggested flute solo dubbed over your track at my profile. I used a Native American Style Flute. It's not the greatest solo or recording, but this is the idea that came to me as I heard your track. Hope you like it.
This classical bit really pulled me in. Shades of Copeland and John Adams. Have you thought of using an indigenous woodwind over the rhythm--bansuri, shaki--to carry the voice of the flower as it opens? Brave stuff.
never thought of that, but its a great idea! I will work on it, though it was my first creation with an orchestra
thank you very much for your comment!
A good song...an acoustic guitar & some big talent....gets my undivided attention all the time...you have a good one going here Micaela..plus thoughtful work on the compositi enjoyed it...You could even bring the vocal up a couple of dBs ...its good.....Ed

I used symphonic orchestra, wrote it on sibelius and then assigned each instrument to my score.
Cheers!
