thank you .. ya i 'm still here.. i just been doing allot of performances and then i been just chillin and tinkering around and practicing drums the last few months...
i have allot of noodles heh
The vocals on this really set it apart. Gives it immediacy, grounds it in the organic, and creates a great tension with that bass. Maybe tension's not what I'm really looking for...more like gives the whole thing motivation. Why it's compelling to listen to - it's got that compelled creation thing going on.
WTF? One review in a month and a half, and with all the forum posts specifically on dubstep? Maybe it's too inherently challenging?
Did you ever see Crash Worship when they were doing their thang? I wonder not because I hear the similarity in styles, but more in the spirit of the approach. I bet you have some wild shows, especially in what happens to your audience.
I love how the bass is so understated at times here.
never saw crash worship.. i'm checking it out now.. pretty dope.. and thanks for the review!
i can't wait to get on the road..
we just did a pretty dope SXSW show :)
lets pray that someone digs us enough to help us get on tour
What can I say... Excellent. This is really cool, I really enjoyed listening to this.
As far as trip hop goes - probably if it was a touch slower
Anyway that's all i can say, _ the dishwasher doesn't tell the chef how to cook!
I really like your track - I play guitar and I have been playing your song with my guitar. You mentioned sending out the updated remix, I would be interested in that. I can send you my take on your song when I finish. My only intention is to have music to go with my guitar, Your song is perfect the way it is, I am just looking for some great music to play along with.
just coming through here to say hello and check you guys out, Austin is a good spot to be, i've heard a lot of good things..digging the composition here a lot...digging the bass groove and the arrangement..this is definitely hand crafted..I wamt to hear this again but I'm liking it already...thanks for posting this man
peace
...its like the bass is in the shadows, hiding behind a door, peepin its head out and grinnin at you. i would love to hear an instrumental of this one where the bass is the star. however, i really like the vocals on this - very sultry, trip about to go bad vibe - so im torn...i want BOTH versions! ;)
nice work!
2 HOURS?! Jeez, all my stuff takes, I don't even know, way longer. That was 2 hours well-spent, brother. Great track. Love the bass and the drums, though for me volume-wise they could come up a level or 2. I want my ears to hurt.
I don't know... your hours must be different than my hours.
hehe thanks man..
well i have tracks that take hours and other that take years.. we are polishing up or 7 song album which has been in the works for a year.. we did decide to do 3 albums because we had like 30 tracks in the works so their are allot more tracks that need finishing for the next two which will be released later this year
i liked it. i think your guess as to genre is as good as anybody elses. really cool vocal effect, i like how it broke down at the end as well. very cool stuff
Aww man, this song is the sh it. The lyrics are the best part. Hahahaha. Love the guitar, and your laugh at the end was priceless. I'd love to hear more tracks like this. Good stuff!
Excellent.....Love, just love the vocals....I need someone who can sing like that for some of my songs.....
Very sensual, rythmically sexy, with a touch of bluesy soul...
I like this track alot!!!!
Makes me feel like an amature, yet I am....laugh.....I just uploaded one called Dusk in havana.....
its a nice track overall with good lyrics, in my own opinion i think u need a dusty drum break to put behind it it will bring it out more as a moody hed nod track job well done!
thanks.. .ya i'm going to be looking into possible doing something like that
by the way the remix pack for this track will be ready in a few days just message me if you want it
nice it has a very interesting want to hear more vibe to it. it builds up as time goes on. very ambient and some other genre i cant put my finger on. great job!
i really enjoyed this, i love the concept of the female voice over dubstep. i also saw a video on your youtube channel of you performing a dubstep track in this style, i was instantly drawn to it as an idea, as its something ive tried myself but never got quite right. i would happily play this out.
the only thing i could think to criticise would be perhaps the lack of variation in bass sounds.. but that is really a positive because it works so well.
id quite like to remix this, if i can get those stems.
great work man, i will be listening out to your stuff from now on.
I reallllly like this track Jah Know That Jah Love, i cant actually pick anything to criticise on this track, cant wait to see your album keep it up Sus1
