So bright but emotional too. You do what you do in a very artistic way and that reflects on the outcome, which is always so far, a beautiful song.
Beauty in music as well, has to do with all those components that make it a path to one's soul. Your talent is all the choices you make during this music making. You choose every note and every sound and you create pathways to people's minds.
Best wishes, Anthony
Its a common experience, my friend. Producers know the grindstaying up until 2am tweaking subtle details that most people wont even notice, or spending an entire night on a mix only for it to end up sounding worse than before. There are times I finish a song and realize its not going to work, so I scrap it and start fresh with a clear mind. Interestingly, that approach has often paid off for me. Making music is an absolute joy, though it does come with its fair share of frustration.
I truly appreciate you taking the time to enjoy my work, and it means a lot that you value the composition. Cheers to you!
Latin style pop is the best way to go if you want to please the masses. This sounds like a great showcase of your vocals - how would I go about getting some raw samples?
Nice song, good flow.
Sorry for my personal opinion: I think it could be much better. I feel like the chase for loudness has degraded the overall sound.
I understand although this not an official version. It was a quick mix completed in less than 30 minutes after I stumbled upon the vocal here and remembered I had a backing track that might suit it. Naturally, if the track were to be developed further, I agree with you that it could be improved. Thank you for listening and providing feedback.
Hey TrippleN! Such sweet vibes that put you in a happy place for sure. I like how you switched up the beat around :48, too. Really appreciate the hard work and arrangement you came up with. Top notch!
It is a joyful pop song, that I really liked. The vocals to my ears are partly good and partly excellent. I do not have the experience to understand if that's a frequency matter or something with the singing itself (maybe a matter of rehearsing).
Well done.
Best wishes, Anthony
I like the result even in the (still?) unfinished state.
I did some Silver Bella / Ashes and Dreams mixes myself, didn't hear this one before :-) I'm to busy creating :-(
As a first test, take out the synths entirely and see how it sits (I know that's painful because you played them, been there, didn't want to do that ;) ).
Where I said "big dip, Imeant EQ. Take an EQ8 or whatever your FL Sudio is, and take a big scoop out of synths around the vocal range of Bella (who is a great singer), so probably between 300-1500 Hz. If that clears up the midrange, you'll know where to go next. If the vocals are still not clear, you know I'm talking bollocks and you know you can ignore me in the future ;)
I didn't mean my comment to sound harsh btw. Again, I like what you did with the synths and I think I can hear what you want it to be!
I understand what you're suggesting now, and I'll give it a shot! I'll likely sidechain the EQ on the synth track to the vocal chain, so it activates whenever there's input from the vocal track, creating some extra headroom.
Thanks once again for the solid advice. I really value a genuine review that helps improve the project. Honestly, I wouldn't post here if I didn't respect your expertise. It's always beneficial to hear what other professionals have to say before finalizing a song.
I like it a lot, but I hear what you mean. I think the synths can take much more of a back seat, and let us focus on the vocals and the beat. You may even want to scoop out a big dip in the synths where the vocals sit? Still, I think you already did a great job!
I feel you. The main huddle I struggled with was the resonance in some parts of the vocals. I believe if I could have gotten the vocals right, everything else would be a walk in the park.
Thanks for checking it out and getting back to me. I'm definitely gonna work on those levels and see how it pans out
Thanks sir. I am humbled to hear that you could vibe with the bounce too. It's been 8 years since I started messing with my DAW but I still have a lot to learn.
Thanks again for the positive feedback
Didn't realize I had reviewed this track prior, oh well... still very enjoyable and I like the Hook, the piano melody and the groove which was very nice. Great production overall.
