Well Alf started on a forum called Serious Sounds back in the day. Three from there I know of went on too be famous Hard House producers.
I'm sure three were signed to the Tidy Trax label. Alf got me to play his tunes on my Mackie HR824 Monitors to see how it sounded.
Most of the time it sounded spot on.
He loved my melodies and said I would have been huge but It wasn't my thing to be a DJ and famous.
I've turned down three people who me to DJ and play all over the world.
Not my thing but Anne Savage still playing wow.
She and Lisa Lashes and Pin up always were working girls. Alf use to mix Lisa Lashes tunes sometimes.
I miss every other car blasting out hard house. I miss them days.
Loved your tune though. Take care bud.
I love the track it reminds me of my mate who worked at the Tidy Trax label when he was making hard house and Trance.
Alf Bamford he was called Technical and he was always playing stuff like this.
Played this on four speaker systems and it sounds banging on them all.
An amazing track I used to love Tony De Vit I was a massive fan of hard house back then.
Your tune a banger nice work.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I loved Tidy Trax back in the day, so they definitely influenced my sound (along with being just generally an old fart haha). Anne Savage still plays regularly in Melbourne!
This is hyphy! Let's go Hollywood clubs back in days! The only thing I would change is that kick drum with some more Bass but this is dope! The intro has me movin alright! It also inspires me to create something like this as well.
Thank you for your kind words! The kick is tailored for the Funktions at Eso, so it's very easy to overdo! My last festival track, Sector Four had a bigger kick and it was a borderline too much on the festival rig; I may have backed off too much but I'll get to test it soon!
I have to leave a second comment. Absolutely excellent track, you kept my attention for the full 8:23 (well ok maybe the final 30 seconds I thought we were already done ;) and this is not my music at all, so really really well done.
I'm a fan!
This is actually one of my older works and has been played out in Melbourne a fair bit as well as a a few festivals. It was a ‘hit’ as much as an underground track can be. If I can get other DJs to play any of my tracks I’m happy:)
I liked that quite a bit; I like it better now that I see you recorded it live, that's very good.
Great trance track although I felt you went a bit overboard with the "I know you're going to digg this" sample. Use it a bit more sparingly and it will have more effect.
Good job!
Thank you for kind words! Yeah I smashed that dig this button a bit much on that particular performance; as a live track it’s obviously a bit different every time I play it…good call though :D
