Thanks! I know it has been a while. I have been working on some of my older projects (like this one) trying to get them to a finishing point. Thanks again for the comment!
I would have to echo Static's comments. It is obvious that you are an accomplished keyboard player, but also a highly skilled composer and arranger. This one shows a great deal of thought and effort went into the production as well. Like SN said, I love the BALANCE on this one (something many on the Loop struggle to achieve).
I can see this one being a huge success in the many clubs here in Las Vegas. You would have them fully engaged. Hopefully some DJ is listening and will put this one on his track list. Really well done.
Thanks for the kind comments. I struggle with balance quite a bit with most of my tracks, so I am glad that it sounds balanced and well arranged. Thank you again for the high praise.
This is good and not what I expected from you (which is more cinematic stuff).
Skilful rising intro as you move into the first panning hat. Nice arpeggiated stuff there.
0:38 good riff and I like the removal of the arpeggio. Good bass part too.
Fat kick after that and the snare has to drop so it does.
It turns into being a bit trancey, I guess, as it settles.
There are a lot of skilfully shaped sounds in here that work well together.
This is a really good mix and nothing seems too loud and it's not clipping and has a good loud but not overly loud level. Balance!
To be honest, as good as it is, it's in a style I've heard many, many times before so I would have preferred something more unusual and unpredictable in there.
But that's just my strange preferences and very high standards. A lot of other people are going to love this - especially out live on dancefloors. No one's going to be analysing the details there (except for me standing there, not dancing, at the back) - they'll just be dancing along and enjoying how far out it is.
SN, Thanks for comments. I was trying to figure out how to really break out the sound, but alas, couldn't do it. I did work a bit trying to get the sound dialed in. I actually worked a lot more with the actual sound that in my other tracks. And, I would standing in the back with you analyzing.
