Nicee. This is some good old school dub with a modern touch. Love the flute and the laid back vibe of this tune in general. Made me think of a nice beach with great weather, a glass of whiskey in one hand, a juicy jay in the other, and some hot women. Okay maybe I added the hot women, but you get what I'm saying. Good stuff.
I had listened to this track a long time ago. Didn't review then, just spaced out to it. Then I came across a video of Messian Dread doing a in studio jam. The name was very familiar but couldn't remember from where. Now it all comes back. This one awesome tune. The bass and perc's just make it real chill. The keys sound kinda like a clavinet but have a real good vibe. Those verb and delayed keys are a beautiful touch of music and engineering. Just hit at the right time and expand out naturally. Can't say much more to convey how great this sounds. Cheers for this great tune. :)
I LOVE the effects you have going on. But even more than that, I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the title.
I dont know if you wrote it, the way I am taking it. But either way, pure brilliance on both parts.
Lovin this track never really new what dub was until i joined looperman but have always loved reggae and this track tells me im gona love dub now great work.
Wow When that bass kicks in i just smiled, this is fantastic! Great production, def going to take your advice on my track to heart.
My favorite part of the track will probably be at 2:00
That high pitched noise was perfect! great track man
I'm all for the unbridled and unrestricted fornication of household electronics. And if their progeny are going to make joyous racket like this, I say let's make some space for their activities!
I do believe this is in the top 3 most interesting Dubstep tracks I've ever heard. Is it just me, or do others hear optimism dripping through the spaces between the sounds in this one? Far-F***ing-Out!
Added to faves (perhaps the first Dubstep entry there, too!).
Thanks for this. Downloaded and added to my laptop's playlist.
What, no "putting a banana in your Speedo" for maximum first impression effect? I'm thinking we might need a "BOOB" or "Bolt Out Of the Blue" genre, as this completely came from left field!
I haven't laughed listening to a track for the first time like this in AGES! Super Green! The execution of this is fantastic man!
ur crazy to pull this one of jah, this track is insane mad glitchy. and now how to land a move on the girl, i am waiting for summer then i would come listen to this track again, lol, then i can utilize it again.
loved the track. lol
okkkkk never really listened to your tracks and i saw you listened to mine a couple times so i thought id stop by. extremely trippy. reminds me a lot of pink floyd. this would be an awesome intro to an album you really know how to use those reggae organs nice job on this track!
Thats one WiCK3D Track hehehe , im in love with dupstep , but i would go for Wobble , ure track is near Wobble than Dupstep , nevertheless a pleasure and joy to the ears :)
Lack of wobble is what I was going for. Just a straight dirty signal. The bass ssound cam eout of a scanned synthesis module. It is just so ugly sounding I had to leave it as is. The choppy sections are created with a sequence looping filter applied just in places (like and effect send). Certainly not a average dubstep sound.
So what's the deal, you specialize in the Jedi MindTrick, or what? How is it every time I visit your track page, there are one's I haven't seen that have been here a while?
This is righteous. I love, really love the tuned percussion you've got here. And especially how it works with the melodica(?), it's serious and fully whimsical simultaneously. Religious. The paradox makes it so.
