on Laid Back Organ and Piano -No Title Yet - DJJPA by DJJPA
Thats it. smooth sound. makes you drop right into that zone. I think; what you think, is missing is some vocals. To tie evrything up together into a nice tight package. The people will, follow the groove. All we have to do is beleive. Keep dooing, what your doing brother: we will all get there eventualy. right right. m aybe wrong the jury is still out. But, hey all we can reallllly: do is try. That I honestly beleive, is step one. Step two is, just like step one. Just haREDER, and so on.
I appreciate the love on my track. "Keepem commimg, keepem moving"

Thanks for the listen and your time taken. I did wonder how well the synth would work. Thanks for the reassurance. Your comments mean a lot.

on Pipe Dream - DJJPA by DJJPA
The kind of pipe idea makes it kind of ambient. Strange idea for an electronic track.

Yeah I have a hard time pigeon-holing my work into any genres. Most of the time I don't know where it fits until someone tells me. Thanks for the listen.

Hey DJJPA, just finished listening to your track. Love the groove. The bass has a great tone and is "Old Skool" funk. You are headed in a sweet direction. Keep your momentum going. Great beginnings!

I appreciate your time and ear. I'm just getting serious with something I've played around with all my life. Music. And if I can keep getting input from others with some experience, such as yourself I think I can bring it all together. Again thanks for the listen and encouragement.

MAN! It's hard to write a review and groove at the same time!

This is so tights, fills are great, nice levels too, the mix is good!

The bass is monotone, but I don't mind! It's groovy and funky!

Gonna bust out my platform shoes in a second cause this is some intensely funky music!

Thanks for the listen. This is the first track that I've uploaded and your comments mean a lot. You've got me excited to get some more of my tracks up. I know I have a "different" style and am glad that that's being appreciated. Thanks again.

thats a really cool bass track but it over whelms the whole song can't hear the other tracks. you fix the levels add a little more and you got killer a track here.

Thx for your taking the time to listen. I actually didn't realize that the melody was missing and I just now put the correct version up. If you could take another listen see if that works.

feel free to critize? the base sounds like sh*t. and your playing is monosonic, this kills the beat after some time. the fills are good, it's sounds really minimal. in my ears more than dance, than funk. because some typical funk stuff isn't here. e.g. wah wah stuff, rhythm guitars, beat changes, a 2-4-phrasing...

but, it's a sweet like track. even it's not perfect.

Appreciate your time and review. I just put the actual whole song on there b/c that version was missing the melody line and other parts. I agree with you about the bass and am trying to take a new approach with a synth. Thanks again!
