nice little tune... my friend is a good singer...and I sorta got the garth brooks vibe goin on with my voice... I might throw you some lyrics on here... I am gettin a little tired of making hip hop all the time :/
Thanks for taking the time to listen and I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you come up with any ideas for lyrics or vocals drop me a line. I would like to see what you up with.
This is commin straight at cha from THE MACK MAN,this track is nothin but GOLD. SMOOTH AS SMOOTH CAN GET.Instrumentation is off the hook.sweet horn to top it off.keep doin what you do. i will be back. PEACE. THE MACK MAN OUT. Had to fav and download.
Thought I was kickin in Funkytown- great construction and progression. YEA!! dancin right here in the office! Funky Jazzy and twist all included!! HEY TOTO GET YOU Butt back here!! LOL Outstanding FAVED FILA
Did it in a program called Magix. I think it's a very underrated piece of software because I've put some great tracks together with it. Vocals and loops are from Magix.
Hey Epip...recently had a friend ask me to do a reggae backing track for him (haven`t done one before)...so looks like a good place over here for some listening & lessons....nicely done...I`ll be back for more...ED
Thanks Ed, that's kind of what I did before I came up with this track. I spent a couple of days just listening to Reggae on different sites I found on the internet.
Nice to hear some country posted on the Loop...and Dm good stuff too...love the chord prog....hope some country lovin vocalist picks this one up for you Epip....nicely done...Ed
Pretty cool track, loved all the slide guitar in it. This would be a hit with some vocals on top, not that is isn't cool the way it is. Mix sounds great, lovin' it! Reminds me of the SuperSuckers when they do their country albums, now you just need Eddie Spaghetti to sing for you!!(he's the singer in that band)
man you are truly talented. Having listened to some of your tracks from R&B to this...really nice E. Please let me know when and if you do ever get vox on this. Charlie rich and bonnie rait impersonators...hahaha. good job well mapped.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it. Where I grew up I was lucky enough to be exposed to everything from R&B, Rock, Jazz, Country, and Reggae. That's why is easy for me to move around from one style to another.
great mix - this is a nice production. wow nicely laid out man. I completely agree with all of the comments below. this has some nice mix from the bass and EP/rhodes? strings, sax everything is super nice beat the feel form this is intense - yeah baby! Late night special this one...some super soul...Marvin is getting down on this whereever he may be.
Yeah, I don't know.... a lot of my tunes seem to be late night endeavors. I guess because it's quite except for me and I can really get into the groove.
Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Jamie, I'll be sliding by your page and checking out some of your tracks in a minute. I'm finding out that there is really a lot of talent on this site.
Very smooth and well mixed track man you almost made me put my acoustic guitar to this Piece wow ! Id said almost because i don't do nothing until i'm asked too. P.s. is not doubt your Abilities of mixing and recording but it sound too perfect so ill take a tour on your other tracks and see if it matches this High Quality track.
Thanks for the compliment abnerbesares, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hey go ahead and see what you can come up with on your guitar I'm always interested in listening to other musicians ideas. As far as mixing and recording goes I learned a long time ago that a bad mix and bad recording can really kill a good idea.
Thanks Vicen yes I would really like to see what great lyrics and vocals could do for the track. Check back in later to see if anyone comes up with something.
Beautifull. What a blinding Riddim. Everything just works so nice. Jamaica style with a hint of Birmingham & Sarf London stylee. Perfection my friend. I don't do vocals but if I could I would love to. Maybe a bit of sampled Joe Strummer ? Top sound . . . .
this is so dam cool - it's kinda funny but never condescends - a genuine playfulness and love for the sounds that really makes this kick - wonderful music - total respect!
Thanks your review is very much appreciated. It's always a lot of fun trying to figure out how to arrange all the instruments on a track so that they compliment each other.
Hello Kikajon, I'm new to the site so I am still learning my way around. Sorry about the slow response I thought I had sent one earlier but not sure where it went. Anyway thanks again and I'm really happy the track starts your day off on a positive vibration.
