I'm curiousare you related to Peter White? Not only do you share the same surname, but you also possess a similar passion and talent for smooth jazz and virtuosic lead guitar skills.
Anyways, awesome track again. Gotta keep these coming
Hello TrippleN97, I know the Peter White name of course....he's a great guitar player but we share surname only....like Peter and other greats you never know what your passion will be until you go after it....for me Im just a guy who likes the guitar and I try to lay down interesting lines when playing to tunes. Theres so much good music out there and I'm constantly thinking about what I could do with this piece or that. If you know what I mean, music is a constant and a healer.....we need it as much as we can stand....anyway I just enjoy trying to make something that's acceptable and look forward to a lot more. Again I thank you for listening....means a lot.
Hi Glenn, I'm always amazed at how incredibly relaxed your work is. It's an art, and certainly not for everyone, to approach things in such a relaxed manner. Great work!
Best wishes,
Micky
Hello Micky, thanking you for listening of course and commenting....I would say a lot of the music I upload I feel so connected to.....so playing and improvising is kind of personal and thought provoking and it kinda comes out that way I guess.....being relaxed certainly helps to minimize mistakes as well....and a few nice surprise note choices when you feel no urgency....if that makes sense. Anyway thank you my friend.
Hello AnthonyAttard, my friend I value your opinions and thoughts and appreciate each and every one.....its a pleasure to share each one's musical ideas and look forward to much more. Again thank you.
Hello StratOli, I thank you for checking it out and commenting my friend....appreciate it a lot. Where would we be without our music, especially these days....again thank you.
Hello MPOProduction, appreciate the listen and comment.....I recorded this track using an Ibanez Artcore using a Tascam SP 09 recorder....wireless inputs for the guitar and tc electronics pedal, and a fender champion 100 amp.
love that vibe, almost waited for Luther Vandross to enter. i love our play with dynamics and minimalistic approach on lead. it never liked when a guitar player shreds to much and plays unnecessarie notes. i can feel the soul in each note from you. very dream like production and suits the genre well.
Hello BananaLu, I appreciate you listening to my track....mean a lot. I always believe there's a time and place for the shredders, but I think for a lot of music expressions don't necessarily mean a lot of action on the neck, I think so much can be expressed using very little.....just more imagination....a phrase here and there. For me more means less, if you feel it at the right time in your piece especially when improvising. Sorry to go and on.....again thank you for listening.
Hello REKLOTHEWOLF, first thanks for the listen and comment my friend, second I didn't mean to put you out that way ( joke joke), but really I'm glad you felt good about the track....I really appreciate it and you.
This is some kind of special! I'm sitting here at work and got lost. Very professionally and well done. I love the smooth vibes, easy on the ears. Job very well done.
I didn't realise you had a new one that I hadn't heard yet! This is just a wonderful listen. I don't think I can ever tire of this genre of music (or your music as it's all been a pleasure to listen to), this is beautifully composed and played. This music will be perfect to listen to while I'm working on non music related projects! :)
Hello MzCinema, thanking you my friend for listening of course, it means a lot and gives me a reason to upload even more.....the pleasure is really mine because the music is the reason....so I appreciate your time to check it out. Again thank you
Hello BCVProductions, thanks my friend for listening to my track and commenting. I will say the guitar itself produces a nice tone but I also use a tc electronics pedal to enhance the artcores I play....I have 3 and use this pedal with all of them.....I've also found that a medium pick helps with a heavier tone as well.....again thanks for listening.
Hi Glenn,
If I ever have a bout of acute anxiety, I'll listen to this track before I reach for the medicine cabinet... You're a very relaxed soul, aren't you. I like the chord progressions you chose... this could go on and on... until sunrise. Thanks!
Cheers,
Micky
Hello Micky, I really appreciate your comments and time to listen to my track....it means a lot. The music we create can do so much....keep up your good work as well my friend.
Hello BeatMaker4real, I wanna thank you my friend for checking this track out and commenting....very much appreciated....im just a music lover with more love for music than talent, but I'm good with that....I have so much more to share, again thank you.
Kudos to you on the excellent recording on the equipment you describe,,started my recording on a Tacsam 4 trk..used a 238S for many years. Nice warm sound on that Ibanez (checked one out when I was looking for something different for blues/jazz stuff..and you play well. Fab track man..enjoying a listen..big well done to you. Keep on. Ed
Hello Tumbleweed my friend....most of my recordings have been done with the tascam DP-03. It's not the best but for my needs I get out of it with tweaking a pretty good sound along with a few pedals and mixing and mastering from the recorder....I have not migrated to to mixcrafts and studio artists software as of yet. I have them all, its just more of a learning curve I have to work toward. As for guitars I have a few Ibanezs.....acoustic and jazz . Love them all.....just a music nut I guess....wont bore you any further....let me just say im thankful for guys like you and look forward to more of your work as well.
Hello TrippleN97, hey my brother thank you for listening to this track....it means a lot. Im just a brother who loves music in any form and im glad if it shows. What would we do without it....appreciate you my friend.
Smooth and Serene my friend!
This gives me those early year Mac Ayres vibes (have you heard of mac ayres?)
Also may Iask if you had any inspiration for your vocal style in particular? As unique as it is, i know it isn't uncommon for some people to model their voice after an inspiration
Hello Zivonmusic, really appreciate your comments and of course listening to my track...first I've heard of Mac Ayers but have listened to any of his stuff but I will do that. I'm an older guy so I go back a bit as far as influences....but guys like dimeola, metheny, benson, j.pass, holdsworth, w.montgomery, s.khan....there's tons more that I admire and still.follow. I don't really have a style other than if I feel it I try to convey it....sounds crazy maybe but its true....improv gives you little time to mess around.....or so it goes for me. I've never had formal guitar lessons so I'm doing mainly what I feel and have learned on my own. There's no shame in my game....I'm quite fond of music and inspiration can be found anywhere....all types of music inspire me but I do favor certain genres more than others. Don't mean to bore you so I'll once again thank you for your comment and listen....
