Reminds me of a lot of Beatle bootleg recordins I have with respect to recording quality. The track sounds good, but I'd love to hear it better recorded.
Lots of potential! needs to be recorded better though. One thing u could do is search some reviews on KORG D3200 Digital Recording studio. I use that to record alot and it's good hardware based if u want to look into better hardware recording. The thing that sucks is Korg only gave it one Guitar channel! so if u wanna do acoustic on one channel and rock on the other, u cannot :( although you could try first creating a stereo track in ableton (i saw that u used that software)but u could do a stereo track for the guitar and pan it out left and right on both channels. if u have a condensor boom mic ( cuz it sounded like u recorded your voice farther away from the mic) but if u have a condensor mic like that, then u could get it to sound better. idk if a condensor mic actually works in Ableton though, I know a phantom powered mic would not do well in ableton.
Best of luck! please let me know if any of that sounded confusing.
I like the spirit of the song. Very up beat. I like your playing. The timing is off. You will get it down the road. Practice Practice. Singing needs to be projected out more so the words are more clear, easier to understand. I like the feel of the song, sometimes that is the most important thing for a recording artists.
Keep trying. Sometime keep trying on your recording in different ways, less echo to your voice, position the mic differently, many things you can do to change how you record, and how it sounds after its recorded to how it plays. Keep up the good work.
Try and practice.
i can.t but agree with all the guys here, great track but the recording quality needs more attention. Good news ? You've landed in the right place. There is so much talent on this site, and alot of us would be happy to offer any tips, advice and re-mixes ! But you'd need to record the vox with a click to sustain true time etc. Hope this has been of some use, would be happy to work with you some time :)
I like it... it's actually kind of refreshing to hear something like this compared to mainstream music ^_^ I think it is a great song (lyrically and musically) and with the right production could be really awesome. If you're interested I think we could pull this off :D Email me at sirdrumsalot1992@yahoo.com if you are interested
@Kibbs's. I like this song. I think its has that teen freedom feel 2it. and that life from your point of view is how your music is. beautiful. I think you have to play along with a metronome or a click just to rythm steady. It kinda goes off time here and there. so i found it really hard to put a drum track to. So I didnt. simply it wouldve ruined what you do have already. Hope no hard feelings and only encouragement is what I aim to send. All the best
I think you better off letting somebody make you a track and you try to add the Lyrics to it ! Because like my friend here said is going to be a long session. and here in LOOPERMAN no how to make good music so give it a shot an pick a track.
