thank you one more to secondnature comment suffer jets are a gill band shaking it want here good new surf bands Slacktone, the Insect Surfers, Huntington Cads, Glasgow Tiki Shakers, Eliminators etc.
its real easy stuff to make all you need is a wammy bar for bending twangs a reverb pedal with reverb spring and a boosster pedal yea i herd the surffer jetts there not bad
So from a mastering point of view, I would go back and put Fab Filter,s Saturn, and use the warm tube amp on the guitars to soften the sound and soften the plate reverb. Otherwise cool and nice work. I've been watching the new episodes of Kids in the Hall on Amazon prime and their theme song has that awesome surf sound.
Cool man, I love surf music and Dick Dale has his own folder in my favorites. I like the feel you got going on this one. Dick would have loved this one, right up his alley, lots of cool expressive sounds on the guitar. He played a strat, especially designed by Leo Fender himself. But those guitars are also perfect for surf music!
Well done!
DD did a Guitar Center stop, there's several vids showing his talents one day at a store visit, a few years before his death. You'll like this, 3 piece and he's playing loud!
i never knew much a bout him til now ironicaly he comes from boston mass usa as do i and intill now i knew nothing a bout him i just bought a guitar built for grunge and surf and felt the waters of the what the guitar can and cant doo
I love the incredibly old-school vibe of the recording. Feels like I've pulled out a record from a long forgotten cabinet. Also the guitar feedback near the end of the song gives the song a moment of noise rock quality... sorta. Anyway cool stuff!
rockoff you back with some thunder bro, great jam that guitar is fooking zany bro, the bass is sic, great sound and playing fam, well done good listen all 6.35, tight outro too
I love surf music and you made me happy with this one. I live in a big surfing area so this vibe and with the weather starting to get hot, this track puts me in the proper beach attitude!
jaguar i do have a jazz master but this is a jaguar it screams surf or grunge tones hass 2 single semour duncans stock all the switches and floating tremlo thanks for the comment
nice track bro solid drums and great guitar, i would give the vocals a tweak up in volume and overlay them, they are cool. nice to see you about again mate
thanks mate its rare to have vocals in this genre when you do they take back seat most surf bands are instrumental unless like this some surf bands like beach boys have vocals but they shy away from the early style surf and the surf fades from there band later years more 70s rock
