I am often unsure about the genre, but since ambient is such a broad category, this song might fit. What makes me curious is that my tracks (which I call ambients) have many rhythmic, percussive elements, and I am not sure if that's typical for the ambient genre. Still, if it resonates with your sense of ambient music, that's a good sign.

It is a bit messy with the frequencies and the sounds but I did not make that extra effort needed to be as good as it should be. I know you like melody so this is a positive point...and I live your Italian brother!
