Well none of the two. It is the preset Deedan of the vst synth FRMS by Imaginando. Hope it helps.

I am not sure if I understand correctly your question. I think you mean a complex sound with a clock tick to be heard. I will post to you the correct answer as soon as I load the Cubase project. I think it is a preset either of Retrologue or Ana 2. I will check it out.

Oh yes, it is quite a robotic beat, unfortunately programming the drums and in general the rhythmic part takes a lot of time and there is a lot one should know about these instruments. I try to make the track "realistic" but it is clear it is not the real thing. It is very pleasant though that in general it gave you the feeling of atmospheric, cinematic music.

Yes, this the way I perceived the dark character of the guitar part too, and this is the reason why it made me choose it to work on. To me it's essential though to understand if I successfully used music to bring this upfront. The way you perceive what you hear is actually the message I've sent. So, did I use the right code? This is a question of mine to me, every time I get to create a piece of music. Here on LM I have the chance to get some answers, which is really positive and creative. Hello Richard, thank you so much for your kind comments. Well, maybe it is because we are not singers, we do not have this superb instrument, so we try with what we have. There is an extra version with a bass presence and different drums approach, something that the member REKLO worked on. I will post the YouTube link on the song description.

Thank you so much for visiting and listening to this track. It has been a great guitar loop I had to work with, and I tried to keep all the dark (in this case the "cinematic") elements adding with the bass strings mainly some coloring, I guess what you perceive as evocative. Being on the trap side.... I hope the drum track supported this purpose.
It is a teamwork and I just hope I have respected the intentions of this excellent guitarist (the loop is a composition on its own).

Well, I cannot specify 'dark', I mean it is a term with a wide spectrum of definitions but I really never had the intention to give this great guitar loop, a thriller's character. Of course since you as a listener perceived it this way then it lies somewhere over there....
