Hi AnthonyA....I'm proud to say i can appreciate all genres of music because there are so many incredible pieces of music that you may not be exposed to and yet there's so much you miss like this track. The well laid out description of the Greek Seashore in itself while listening to the track is a perfect example for me of experiencing the moment yet so far away.....it's a very well done piece of music.

My boss was Greek and he had three daughters. He said only an idiot would marry his daughters lol.
My dream girl was perfect his daughters had aa temper lol.
Loved the tune my friend I often go on YouTube and listen to the reek music.
I love the game Assassin's Creed Odyssey and the music in that. Thanks for your music I can tell it comes from a Greek heart.

I recognise the Greek style playing on the guitar. Would also work for being in the boats sailing.
I love Greek music and the dancing and the way of life. Use to work for a Greek gentleman he showed me photos and videos of Greece and how all the family and friends work together.
You created a picture in my mind with your music it turned out perfect.
I love Zorba the Greek that tune just dose something to me I can't explain.
I once had a dream I was Greek and I was getting married to this beautiful Greek girl.
On my wedding day I have a heart attack and die. She's there screaming and I'm a ghost watching it all.
It was in the 1940s the time period and I lived on a little island and I was 22 at the time.
I could swear it was real but I think that's why my attraction to Greece is so strong.
I know it sounds morbid but I could swear it was real.
I love Greece I've never been there but I love the music the culture the life.
Thanks for the Greek music that really feel a love in my heart.

A replay.
Of course it's nice when people listen to your tracks and you get compliments.
It will be that way for all of us.
I have the same opinion about the structure of your tracks.
sometimes I post something too quickly because I think it's right after I've been working on music for hours and my ears apparently aren't listening as clearly anymore lol.
When I wake up in the morning and listen to my track, I scare myself to death.
Ohhh my god what have I done!!! hahaha.
Completely nervous, I delete the track as quickly as possible hoping that no one has listened to it.
So yeah...I agree with you that sometimes it's better to let go and finish later

So nice you visited and listened to my track. I see you have been there, so you recognize this "phenomenon" of not listening because of of over listening...!! Possibly it is some kind of "burning out"...
Wish you well, Anthony.

Thank you Paul, it is so encouraging to know there are still people who want to conversate, not in the formal way but as everyday, next door pals. Lets say like old time neighbors. To get to know in a more "old fashioned" way. It is of course via new technologies but I can tell, you are a very good neighbor. Thank you for your open character, I do understand how you feel and it is great to know a bit more about you, so interesting and so meaningful.

Hello Paul
So glad you visited and listened to another of my oceanic songs. Ive always wanted to live by the sea but actually I never did. It remained kind of a dream. Luckily, mainly during the summer we have the opportunity to be in the clear water, enjoying the salt and the sun. A walk by the sea or a nicely cooked fish though are at our disposal throughout the year, if we decide to drive for about half an hour (the nearest shores are a nearby destination). I am really content you liked this music. It is awesome with technology and sampling and synths or virtual synths the capability to give the user such a way of expression. I mean I never recorded a real guitar for this song. Everything is played on a keyboard taking advantage of the midi functions and the sampling potential.
Thank you so much for your kind approach to my work, I really appreciate it.
My best regards Anthony.

Hello Rita
Thank you so much for listening to my music and for posting your comments. I only can say that I like my music to be liked...! You do understand the feeling, this is something we share in LM.
How I play it? Some things come right away, some things not. I do see that sometimes it is preferable to let go for a while and then re-listen to what you make. If there is room for improvements you will understand. Unfortunately I do not usually follow this path. This particular song was made in two stages.
Thanks again Rita, it is always a pleasure to read your comments
Wish you well, Anthony

Hey, Anthony. This sounds like a beautiful escape to a tranquil seaside. Since you mentioned the seashore, the imagery of the gentle waves and the serene atmosphere captures a perfect sense of peace. I can imagine it enveloping you in calm, evoking the soothing rhythm of the ocean. It's lovely to see how music can transport us to such serene places

Your comments are welcomed. Many thanks for listening to my music and posting your thoughts. It is always a pleasure to read you liked it. Actually it is a series of musical pieces that were made with my mind to the ocean. This one must be the latest. A calm sea is like a gift to our senses or at least this is how I see it.
Wish you well, Anthony.

Thank you so much for listening and commenting on my music. But, I dont understand the term busy (it is really good for me to understand). You mean there are many instruments playing, there is an overdose of what? Maybe I will do better next time if I get the point.
I am glad you liked the outcome though,

When I don't know what Genre it is I just put electronic. Its certainly got a lot of variety its not boring.
It reminds me a lot of Synthwave to be honest and I really like it.
Nice work I'm not good with reviews I just know its good.

Thank you so much for your time to listen and comment on my music. Yes in most of the cases electronic should be just fine. I am really very content you like the song. The questions to my mind are would you listen to it more than once and do you remember some parts of it or even the whole of it. No, no, I dont mean you should answer, it is just a way of discussing.
Wish you well, Anthony.

I've used zenbeats, it's not bad. It's old school synth sounds definitely suit u. If ur still thinking about that video game music, this would be a perfect piece to showcase, dude. It's good, you're definitely ready. - Aaron

AnthonyAttard replied 30th Sep 2024 - 1 year ago
Hello Aaron.
As a non professional I have purchased the less capable versions of Cubase, like Cubase studio and Cubase Elements. I met Roland cloud and I wanted to check this out. Zenbeats I would say is not inferior to the above DAWs. Making music is very interesting and sometimes it gets to be difficult, it is fascinating and can be introspective. The right of it are welcomed and amusing. I really am jealous of those composers who master so well their music and are able to create various atmospheres like sadness, happiness, agony, fear, hope, rashness, laziness, you name it. Actually I admire their capabilities.
About games music I know nada. I have watched my son playing, and that was some years ago. He grew up. I do remember though that each game was a whole story. With various scenes like in the movies. I remember the music was sophisticated enough to put the player into the role the scenario predicted for him.
Thank you so much for your kind approach
Best wishes, Anthony

really beutifeul motive you got going here, but that jump in 1:40 was suprising and it gives it a great foward energy. It got something of Wendy Carlos meets Genisis. The Intro got that lil funky feeling and awsome lead synth sound, very mellow and natural. well balanced mix.
