I loved this, right up until the break at the 1:23 mark when the piano came in.....not sure of that belonging with the rest of the song. But what do I know?
I know it's silly to respond to comments after a year .... but rarely used the internet and I have not read everything that was written ... sorry and greet!
finaly some one who knows how to use compression on drums. i like the the way this song was settup from intro to end. and the use of auto tune was creative as apossed to redundant. good work D. KEEP IT MOVIN. PEACE.

It's been five years and I only answer to your comments ... I am ashamed and I apologize for that. Now I live in Poland and a lot of time (besides work) spend with his family. As I have more time to again, I created songs.

This track is really good, but it has the potential to be much better... In my opinion it sounds a bit too Pop (mostly because of the drums you used). You should try to grab all the melodic synths & bass parts, add some pads, and add a 4 on the floor beat with some hi hats and snare and make a REAL Uplifting Trance track, cuz it would come out awesome for sure =D
I have some time to make music, so from time to time will put a new song on "looperman".
I plan in the next year, overdub acoustic guitar in the studio for a few of my pieces. Maybe will succeed;-)
Pretty interesting grooves here. Making me think its like a fusion of Jazz & Classical. This reminds me of what it'd be like if Sade's group and Art Of Noise got together for a collab. The depth of this almost makes me wanna call it IDM, because it seems so much more involved than your run-of-the-mill dance stuff.
On the tech-side, ya might wanna consider smoothing out the end (so it doesn't just stop suddenly). Beyond that you're solid. Will def save/fave this one. Thanks for sharing mate. Lates!

Cool grooves here. Great accompaniment to go along with some killer vox. This almost has an REM-like vibe to it. I think my fav bits of this song are the pads and drums.
On the tech-side, ya might wanna work on that lil piano bit in the middle of the song (starting @ around 1:19) because it seems a little out-of-keeping with the rest of the song's vibe. Though admittedly, its a very nice sequence (reminds me of that song, That's Just The Way It Is by Phil Collins, I think). Beyond that this is a pretty solid composition. Nicely done!
The American language is a little different from English, because I understood that you wish me a good song! With warm and best of everything! ps. ... I'm not a Scot I am a Pole from Poland !
pozdro !Thanks for your feedback !
The vox on this kinda remind me of an English version of that one singer that was played in the city scene near the end of Saving Private Ryan. Music-wise this is like a mix of R&B, Pop, & Euro-Dance (so Pop is a pretty good classification for it because in a way I am reminded of Paula Abdul & Madonna from around 90).
On the tech-side I'd work on that sudden end (seems like it cuts off). Dunno how I feel about the intro to this, because though its cool it makes me think that the song is gonna go in a completely different direction (like more melancholy & orchestral). Though it def works with the vox. I might also think about playin with levels of the different channels, because they all seem to lead... Like they're all fighting for the top spot, ya know. Maybe pull back the synths just a tad when she's singin or somethin. Eh, either way, this is pretty sweet. Save/Faved!
Yeah the vox are pretty neat (ya pitched 'em up right?), the effects ya threw on 'em were a nice touch, me thinks (gated echo?). And the intro piano has a cool rag-time vibe to 'em. The pads remind me of so much other stuff that I'm not gonna go into it. Though they're nice too (very pure and classic to the genre IMO).
On the tech-side, I dunno how I feel about the one lead sequence ya used starting at around 2:38. I'm not sure what it is about 'em, but there's just somethin that seems to clash with the overall feel of the rest of the song (maybe I'm just being a weirdo though). Maybe if ya keyed 'em down to better match the other piano stuff you've got on here? Or possibly swap 'em out to another sound font (like bells, vibes, or something). Either way, this is a pretty solid composition you got here mate. Lates!

ps. I sent you an invitation on YouTube
my pleasure! work on this track with your vocals was great pleasure for me ....
long waited for such a statement-a great pianist, a brilliant singer, an idea, the realization of an idea ....
Is not it wonderful? that no matter where we live, we can together make music ;-)
Many thanks!
You're right, this and my next piece Black Jungle are in a different style ... but only for the fact that nature gave them with sound samples from Bebop ...
Try, listen to others and learn! Making music is a passion and a great pleasure.
