try putting some more time and love into your tracks I noticed a few of them mention made quickly or in an hour etc. wouldn't you rather have one really amazing excellent track or 9 quickly made Ok tracks? I can tell you've got it in you. time and effort is the key. thanks for posting your work.
there is no set in stone formula for 'The Perfect Song' but you've definitely followed alot of the rules. nice suspense and timing. The buildup and graduation is nice. Just when I was expecting the break and the drop it ended though. keep up the good work. somewhere after the second progression there should be a breakdown and a buildup leading to a drop and then a reprisal of the first stanza. all in all though I think you are well on your way to your goals. just keep at it.
Sounds like My first Rave parties in '92. I like the old school throw back back, but it's been done so many times. I realize that you are still young and just getting started and this site is the best place for you to be. this is a great opportunity for learning and growth! the mix was well done. I will keep listening though. you've definitely got potential, and if you are willing to put in the work, I'm sure you could do great things with your music.
Relaxing! For some reason i dont hear BMTH in this:(
I was super excited because i love Chelsea smile!
I normally dont post my tracks in reviews, but since you like BMTH i thought you might like Suicide Silence and if you do, check out my dubstep with thier sample. Youll see lol https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/104566
16 years old and you know FAITHLESS ? huumm ! well it has a bit of his music But not sure about the Synth your using it takes away the ruff sound you had going and gave it a Corney Ejay feel to it, What i'm trying to say is the you need to make changes to the track from time to time so that it can have a better structure of what you want to express, don't keep it in the same pattern.Bring more elements to the track like Vocals, effects,Noises anything the sound like a catch, try it and let me know if it worked.GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND.
lol Badger boots? I knew u had to be Irish or scots when i seen the photo. (not taking the piss). Nice tune by the way. I think the mixing needs a slight adjustment the second lead is slightly overpowering but in all a nice deadmau5 style tune. Checkout my deadmau5 copy versions and one original i did.
Hi again James, thought i'd leave u with some deadmau5 tips if u like to help understand his tunes more.
1. he uses 6 bar loops.
2. The bass is based on the the top line of the melody so that if u use a series of chords for the melody, copy only the top line and move down a few octaves, for the bass line.
3. when using a stabbed or staccato style (chords), he uses 5 0r 6 stabs across 1 bar, with the fith or sixth note out of sequence.
4. long intro's and build ups, breaks are usually melody chords broken up into short sections and repeated. Goodluck on the next project.
It sounds like it's mastered pretty good other than the synth could be a bit lower. But it has that club bang to it, definately will keep you jumpin. So "Keep'em comin & Keep'em movin".
