Nice stereo panning, great beats/ rhythms with and I like swirling and surging bassline too. Also a cool vox with some nice flourishes with the keys / synths adding variety and maintaining interest - well done : )
Another foray into 80s music eh? Love it man, although I wouldn't mind a bit of (syncopated) hihat in the drums for some more funk and some brightness. Great stuff and great use of the vocal!
I grew up with the music of Ian Duty. It was weird and exciting to us - we didn't get the lyrics, we certainly didn't get his appearance but boy did we get the energy. There's also this amazing docu on Stuff where they tell the story nobody wanted to perform after Dury because no band could top that energy.
Yeah, I get it, and you are getting very close to the energy of the band. And that's saying something. Very well done my friend!
His son Baxter sounds like his dad. He's a musician too. I once heard the Blockheads perform on BBC 6 Music (Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show) with Baxter and it was amazing.
Definite Depeche Mode vibes I think this probably Falls more than maybe in industrial genre. Maybe electronic. 1.00 brilliant and 1.40. Honestly these are my Favorite type of sounds and you did well homie mixing everything
Great track man. Love the intro, beat is real good. Cool bells and guitar, the fx on the guitar reminds of a style used sometimes by African head charge.
bro soon as i see this i had to listen sic bro, Shiro's story part1,part2,part3, by British Artist Rapman, but you'll know that, love all 3 of the vids, watched them all again after listening to this :)) nice job Kirk.
This is interesting, glad I gave this one a try. Some good dynamics to the track. Lyrics in morse code, now that's a new take on things! You should try Braille next, ha, just kidding.
Would sound good in a hi-tech thriller movie. Mix sounds good too!
super cool track ... bit of Bowie and that's fine, of course ... you are a versatile song maker really ... you're works are always carry the most interesting solutions ...
hats off, Danke
Nice idea - some nice glitchy sounds in the background adding depth, the synth sound is a little 'samey' but you've done well to add and hold interest with the cool beats, some computer like vox and other percussive and foley like sounds. End result is a very cool track. Well done : )
Thanks for the feedback. I recorded the synth blind, and at at the very point in the track where it should take over and go a bit nuts, it stays in the background and is a little boring and uninspiring. I did try and hide that with the glitchy sounds, but you clearly saw through my ruse. I may go back and re-record it, maybe adding in a longer piece of Morse to make it less samey.
the piano Line is power. The comment section makes some error´s sorry. I like the track, it´s really catchy and well done. I use a Speaker for 20 bucks and it sounds great. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the feedback. I did wonder about the piano line, in terms of the story it's meant to be representative of the humans, but it does seem to take away from the overall aesthetic of the track. I've reduced it by 6dB and will see how it goes. I may remove it at some point.
This is really nice - the carousel like start belies the vocal choices and especially the nice indi electro beat that goes with the rap for Kmrs... and the Shamoozey adds another wonderful (almost tom waits like) element. It really works well but you'd think it would be incongruous - that is what creativity is all about hey : )
nice track bro kmrsOfficial is the female rapper, she's well known on LM got a unique voice and delivery, she's not everyone's cup of tea but i think she's good, nice job Kirk
