I didn't know I was in the story but I do know I don't like to type and I do speak to it and maybe miscommunication for my comment I know it wasn't a positive one but it was a truthful one and I think I remember saying that the vibes don't match not that you don't know your vibe but in any case I have no beef my friend I would just giving you my true opinion sorry if I hurt your feelings but we all love music that's for sure keep doing your thing man I hope if anything I encourage you and I make you want to you know put it on my face because I think that makes us better and makes us more confident that's one thing you got bro but have a good day

Hey Paul, you're not going to make only friends lol...apart from that, I think that today CC has become very good, I remember 2 years ago he had difficulty tuning his compositions with the tonality of the voice, which is no longer the case today..even if I don't use them, loops are part of certain styles of music, maybe a little too easy when you're a musician but on LM there are a lot of talents who know how to use it! in any case, very good job on your composition!

thanks Michael, it is all meant with good fun :) i got nothing against CC i like his work and have commented enough on it, although i played drums and a few keys when i was younger, this place got me back into it, im not brilliant but i have a go. i have nothing against loops but half your job is done really, i went all in singing as i never dared sing when i was young, im lucky here great artist to share with and ive done loads of collabs too, im good for the community and always promote more sharing, i dont need judgement, nobody here does we all want feedback to help us improve but being a songwriter comments give you inspiration and i make full use of them when i write :))

Well I guess we both dropped some new stuff back to back today! Nah man I always think your stuff is unique and well done. This one is no different. Feel free not to feel constrained by a particular style bro.

dimestop replied 9th Apr 2024 - 1 year ago
just checked and commented bro, you know me only too well, i pen songs, im trying to be as unique as i can be, i answer critics with my work, like any rapper, i will never be constrained, i always stand up for myself and any other artist too that brings their own content you gotta have balls and believe in yourself or no one else will. you dont get remembered for being squeaky clean :)

I don't know enough about the hip hop/rap business to say anything about your rhymes... but you're certainly great at it and definitely unique. But what I can say for sure is that you're getting better at handling music, you're constantly developing. In addition, you always make a good choice when it comes to the tracks that suit you. Keep it up, sir!
Cheers,
Micky

thanks Micky, its amazing how much ive learnt from being a member of the community and the advice and feedback ive been given but one thing for sure is being flamboyant is good for me and is all part of being an artist and keeps the fun in it too :)

whoooo Paul and CC, cool guys, it’s like we’re on Facebook! I listened to your composition twice, if you had wanted to do it differently, you have more than enough talent to do it differently! I never give criticism on the composition of songs, everyone has their own "know-how" to create...for the sound it's something else when really it's "rotten" I say it and that's not the case here !

lol, i,m cool Michael, just said my piece, i am just like you, ive never once in my time here criticized anyone, if i can give advice, i will if i like the track if i cant help the track or its not my cup of tea, i dont comment simple as that. yeah if the sound is shocking i would just say its hard to listen but not rude. and yeah if i gave it a couple more hrs i would of had it spaced better, the one thing people overlook is the fact your working with one mp3 you need all the stems to get it the best, everyone should know this, i was also happy with the sound i use stereo separation on each layer but not on my master but i noticed the master was panned hard right separation so i moved it to the middle, thanks for the listen and comment bro

What do you mean by 1.57 before you were giving the BPM?oh I'm dumb I see the length duh lol ok I think vocals need to be clearer and lower the background melody.
My honest feedback it doesn't go the Vibe u looking for or trying to go for it doesn't go with this

bro i think your wrong, i value your opinion but its wrong, your American and all sound the same, im English and original with my own identity, YOU dont know what my vibe is bro, lets see what you got no loops, keep it simple two verses and a hook, nah i didnt think so, thats not constructive critique Cinco thats envy, stick to AI

You didd it again!
I think everyone would agree with me that you are a great songwriter.
And so does your courage and perseverance.
This quiet song suits you very well
You write that you will never become a real singer.
They are the same words I use.
The most important thing is that you have fun doing it and can also express yourself.
Maybe if we had started younger we would have been much further along with everything by now.
But that is precisely why we can be proud of what we have started and learned at our age.

cheers Rob, i really enjoyed this track and totally agree its indie rock and like you a genre i really like to listen to, maybe if i was really serious and a young man that would be the genre i would work in, yes i love rap and hip-hop but its a saturated market

To say you left it all out there for us to hear i shake your hand and tip my hat more balls than migiver lol really though that was different from you but still good in parts, like masa cru said next is varying your vocals, for this type of singing that is i liked it i liked it a lot had something about it still ringing in my ears. Dam straight man.
dimestop
dimestop replied 16th Mar 2024 - 1 year ago
thanks Robin, ive done a few genres now experimenting that is why i enjoy it so much flipping. vocal variation is something im trying to achieve knowing when to sidechain fx into the mids or a lower attack on the lows or an increase of delay in the highs etc, pronouncing is vital to add character, my next in a few days has a bit more, my accent is clearly visible in the phonics with tones increases and softer moments, its a controversial subject too, handled delicately from a mouth piece like me :))
oh bye the way have a listen to this if you get a chance, again well out my comfort zone but possibly one of my very best and a first go at Rock, a collab with Danke

Very cool chill vibe mate. Your next phase is to start thinking about Consonant expressions in your vocals. The best Vocalists have an innate ability to twist the sound by how they enunciate. (It's kinda why I don't sing very much on my work) Anyhoo. I am back. I needed a break to sort out family trauma and morning. I will be working on some new material in 2024. I have been especially listening to Clannad and understanding some of the more esoteric sounds. I did a chat GPT search for my name (Crucethus) and was pleasantly surprised by the results it gave. That has kickstarted me back. Warm regards my friend, always a listening pleasure.

great to have you back around and im looking forward to your new work. sorry to here about your loss Steven, never a good time for anyone, hope your all good my thoughts are with you.
i have really been putting the work in on music over the last 3-6 months, areas i have heard about but didn't really understand clearly sound structures stereo separation chord progressions key scales frequency ranges etc, so im excepting my work to sound better, also i usually sing from a lyric sheet, even though i know the words i wrote them but still use a lyric text for safety but my last two i stood up and freestyled of the top of my head, i think the delivery feels more natural then but i little more difficult too, thanks again for your support Steven its always appreciated as is your feedback

Lol, yea I can see that..two verses for a single rapper, maybe a third for an added feature...it's always best to have too much, than not enough..can always just fade out after the second hook. Props to your son for having that producer ear bro.
dimestop
dimestop replied 15th Mar 2024 - 1 year ago
thanks bro, im just starting a session now, so your sharp reply is a great welcome boost. when i wrote theres gonna be murder 6 mins to long i think i do too many verses but im playing devils advocaat, i'm the main vocal the backing and the accompaniment, also out of respect to the beatmaker i try to use all the track, i feel they would be like he's cut 1.20 of it, now you say fade the track it gives me comfort to think i was wrong in my thinking, but really for rappers yeah 2 verse maybe a repeat or a hook/bridge and finish with repeats
but your spot on about having too much, dont show it all at once just come packed so you can reload when its needed eh. i'll take that it to tonight's session

thanks bro, my son loved Grassroots, but he said you give them too much :)), he said that should of been two tracks every put down got better and the flow was tight, tut tut im not on his play list, its a 4 min track, what does he know, he might be on to something, repeating bars is what everyone does, i just write a fresh verse, i understand that sometimes to much is to much, i dunno what do think bro your my BeatMaker

thanks for that Joe my explanation to why i love hip hop is on Cinco's reply but like a lot of people remind me this adult style suites me, a range that sits with my voice but nothing will top the vibrancy and colour of my favourite genre and beat makers like you just motivate my writing, thanks again for your time and shares Morash
