I revisit tracks all the time (some that I made years ago) and find it very interesting. It can be great to hear something you enjoyed doing at the time but can instantly hear is now not good enough. I feel it shows how far you've progressed over the years. I certainly have and now much quicker at hearing bits that just don't work or things in the mix that need correcting with EQ.
Sometimes a track was fun to make but a bit crazy or weird so not so great to listen back to. Sometimes you can rip it apart and just take the best bits from it and discard the rest. Sometimes ou can slowly go through, tweaking bits and improving what was a good idea not done well enough at the time.
I'm sure you can improve this track as it has good potential. I'd tone down the dubstep madness. But then maybe that's what you like so feel you should go more with that and add some more banging elements and remove some of the chillout stuff.
Cheers for the comment, yeah i don't know what i was thinking with this one. it's a you love it at the time but when you come back to it your like oooooh this is... not as good as i thought kind of track definately gonna revisit this at some point.
I don't know much about hip hop, but I do think this is a really unique approach....orchestral hip hop, pretty cool. I know a lot of beats use strings, or brass, but they don't take things to the level you have.
I think this shows real innovation and I too would love to hear someone put a few verses over it. Really well done.
I like the base of what this track is doing... i keep imagining more expansion of the effects so they sound more sonic. The intro reminded me of a bit more gothic/industrial. As the song goes on i keep wanting more hard changes from section to section so it brings the song to a dubstep dancers needs.
The bassy drone noise is drowning everything else out and clashes quite badly with the drums. You need to do a bit of EQ work to make sure that your bass and drum freqs don't clash. They need to work in harmony together.
Nice feel, I like the track...if you do some theory studies that will help you with coming up with more options in your solo sections...but admitting your knowledge and abiltity as a keyboard player upfront is suprising...fool them when you can my friend you don't have to tell your weaknesses just present your strengths....PEACE NICE WORK !!!
I thought you would never drop the beat on this track lol. You definately should put a bass drum in there to really have this baby bang like it should. "Keep'em comin & Keep'em movin".
Feel free, do you want anything in particular like having it broken down into seperate wave samples? if not i've allowed download on this track so click download and youll be good to go... now i think ill be checkin your rhymes.

Love the intro. That's really melodic, atmospheric, beautiful and trippy. Lots of character too.
1:09 beat is decent.
Then 1:22 we got all vowelly aggressive and weird. Kind of like dubstep. Very trippy and headache-inducing. Bit like drilling into your brain.
This is sort of weird chillout but I wouldn't chill to it due to the lead dubstepping brain surgery stuff.
2:58 leads get a bit more aggressive. But the backing is still pretty damn chilled. So, odd contrast there.
I guess this would be popular on some sort of acid-dubstep weird chillout album.
It's not my kind of thing (due to the leads) but I totally appreciate it.
