HEy thank for the inspirational review.. much appreciated.. Really really glad you liked this one.. and even fav'd it :) Thanks again bro.. Will be sure to check out your new track too.. peace
all i use is reason if you dont mind sending me the patch just so i can take a look inside the tho and understand what your talkin about more and build from that learning experience thanks in advance
Freakin Sick! I dont even know how to describe how badazz this is. Really likt the 808 sub in there. Sick percussions. When it gears up it makes feel like I need to prepare myself for a fight.
Sick bass tones! Man. Chriss... this is tight as hell!
I am big fan of the mello dubstep. The change is sick, very nice transition. Really diggin the synth work on this one. I really like the way you blend mids highs and bass into a thick field of sonic sweetness. then the bass slides right through the rest of the composition with ease. Great track, Friend! Faved
good track, i can see your a reason users cause of your avatar but question how do you get bass sounds like that for dubstep? is it a matter of messing around with the frequency or do you add an effect to your bass instruments?
yup i love the reason.. This one was made using thor synth.. SO its basically 2 synthersisers.. using saw square and sine waves.. across 6 osc's.. and thenn routed through a subtle distortion unit. This one was all about placement of octaves and waves.. if you have reason ill send you the patch bro.. if not theres some really good stuff on looperman to help you build a sweet wobble. Thanks for the review on this on bro.. means alot glad you diggin my work.. gnna check out more of your stuff soon
Yo man thanks for the review on this one.. glad you like.. Yea did the lot myself, apart from the vocals. I used powder jays pella.. Thanks again for the review..
Cool. Has a certain robotic ambient vibe going on, real chill. I would've liked to hear a little more wobble on some riffs, but the bass choices were good either way. That one "slam" effect was nice.
Great job in subverting the genre! I'd never even considered mellow Dubstep as a possibility, and actually found myself contemplating the music appropriated and turned into elevator muzak in a generation or two - it could actually happen!
This is one of the most intriguing Dubstep pieces I've ever heard! Love your percussion (especially the subtle accents) and that bass is truly to die for!
Hey there.. thanks for dropping by.. This one along with my latest attempt at the genre was inspired by a forensic dubstep mixtape, which introduces some nice smooth elements and not purely wobble bass'd (lol).. I do crack myself up from time to time. Anywho.. This allowed for a different perspective on the genre for me, allowing me to push the boundaries a smidge. I am glad you fav'd this and thank ya kindly for the review.
Yes m8 this one a sinista one! Realy got me feelin grimey.I my self produce and rap to hip hop(ish) kinda music but was wanting to give spitin a few bars to grime a go.so il give it a go with this dark subject matter if thats ok? I only joined looperman few days ago cos i was looking for some cool accapelas and i stumbled across this site hence i dnt have a proper pfofile sorted out yet but if u do want to here sum of my lyrical skills u can check me out at soundcloud.com, my user name is Dan Slang. my track "flawless" is probably the closest to grime so check that one out first if u like. peace bro
Yo man just checked out your flawless track.. really like it.. deffo get on this one man, think it would sound sick.. hit me up at cribbage88@yahoo.co.uk then we can sort it out propa.. peace
hey keke.. glad you could stop by and take a listn to this.. It can get intense making a track like this i must admit.. I was going to scrap it half a dozen times before i carried on.. Really glad you like this one.. means alot.. Cheers
yo bro.. thanks for the review.. gotta love that wob.. I used thor for em all man, and hooke it up through the step sequencer.. sweet sounding wib wobs lol.. Glad you enjoyed man..
I really like the synths on this one, very creative! The drum beats are epic! You encouraged me to leave my comfort zone, and I'm glad you did because this is a really cool tune! Awesome melodies! Very well done man! Faved for sure!
hey SpivKurl, thank you for the review and the fav.. i am glad i can return the favour on allowing you to leave your confort zone.. Which is always a treat when you like it too. Much repect and thank ya again
Hey Chriss..This could easily slide into a few different genre directions in my opinion which is cool since I don't really know grime...but i'm sure i'll figure it out and if this is it then I like it!
first thing that comes to mind, "jack the ripper" . the strings sounds like someone has some bad intentions for their night out on the town. at the end, its like he fades back into nothing. awesome track g, keep up the good work.
hahahahaha i love the analogy there.. some one else asked me if i was in a bad mood when i wrote it. Thanks for the review i am glad it can paint a pictuere in your head.. peace bro
