Well my opinion is you have a beautiful dance track here, with excellent, sophisticated instrumentation and great sound. Not at work these days and it has been an amazing start of the day along with some coffee.
Best regards, Anthony
UE! Now you know that 4 on the floor is lethal! Yep everyone up on the dance floor! The string arrangement is definitely a way way back Time Machine. Timeless vocal arrangement. How did you get Gino V? Huh? Any way this is FIRE through and through. You did really good! Peace.
4 on the floor man. Hard to keep your feet or a head bop still with that kick. Glad yu picked up on the 80's strings. Gloria Gaynor ...ish. The opening track on that JH album is AWESOME. Goes a bit downhill from there in my opinion but the opener......WOW
Thanks!!!! Just was on uploading a new tune. Yes the Jazz button. The new track is another genre bender. I posted under jazz but looking for other genre suggestion. Thank so much for the listen. PEACE. UE
UE I'm back. Yep this is HOT! The creative move at the entrance is genius. Like turning a old school radio knob, and you locked in on the smooth jazz business for sure. Vocal placement and treatment is spot on. Also the PU after the first change @ 1:29 is impactful. Classic UE! The brass treatment is so in there. So this track should be your compilation of greatest hits. Peace.
Thanks Mark. Nice to see you back! I hooked onto some diiferent chords for the intro and evolved into a great melody with the vocal. I though it keeps it , not so regular. I'm streching the boundires on genre but the roots always start with a jazz sensibilty so, I'm calling it Jazz. LOL. Thanks for listening and your kind thoughts. I am trying to catch you on the mobile line. PEACE. UE
Thank you for checking back and for the comments. I am using vocals more often right now. Always tryong a different b=vibe and trying to keep it musical. It's a process.! Thanks again. PEACE. UE
Thank you Angelus. I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment. I have been working with more vocals lately. Usually my tracks feature sax or guitar as my lead but always looking to try new things. Thankss Again PEACE UE PS. Sweet Voice!
UE as Im checking your back catalog, Ive found this jewel. Tell me about the sax and piano. Is that you playing or is that a loop? Anyway this is smooth and laidback. Peace.
UE this again is a great track. Innovative how you incorporated a touch of house sensibilities in with the jazzier influences. Im from the Chicago area so back in the 80 house got deeply imbedded in my musical experience. Keep up what youre doing. I hear you! Peace.
Thanks for the listen. Especially grateful for the kind comments and your time for posting.
Peace UE. General Note. Quit Spotify. Horrible for artists and the planet.
Hello UncleErin, lovely stuff my brother, its what we love to hear if you're jazz nut like some of us are....your playing is very good and this accompanying music really sets it up.....great job my friend.
Thanks Glenn. I write all the tracks with loops and midi. As you know takes hours so when someone takes the time to listen and comment I really appreciate it. Thanks again Peace UE
UE. Another hit on your hands. Vocals at the changes is a boss touch. Drums at the chorus with the sax and piano is a very nice touch. Great track for deep chilling! Peace.
Thanks again my friend. As you can hear, have been , At It! We will catch up. I quit Spotify. Horrible for artists and horrible for a peaceful planet. Switching my Library to Apple Music was tedious but feels somewhat better. . Apple Music as UncleErin
Thanks for the listen and taking the time to comment. I'm so glad you enjoyed this piece. Loved making this one . Peace UE. * Quit Spotify . Apple Music. UncleErin
UE Im loving that emotional and expressive entrance. Guitar and sax is wow! Transitions are smooth. The bass glues everything together nicely. Sweet brass section. Nice!
Hey MArk. How are you? Thanks for the listen and comments. I really look forward to your take. Just about to dive into your tracks. I have been away but back at it! PEACE UE
UE immediately I thought of a classic movie soundtrack. This has a unique urban Manhattan feel. Or looking out at the city from your Central Park terrace. This is a powerful work. The sax speaks volumes. The sparkling effect running in the background is a beautiful touch. Another great track. Peace.
It is beautiful jazz, all the instruments are played in a sophisticated manner that only jazz can be.
I really liked the listen. Always an admirer of such high level musicians.
My regards, Anthony
Hello UncleErin, just checked out your track and admire your ability to delve into the heart of jazz....which has always had various instruments playing a big part of a piece of music....this track is one of those in my opinion.....its great and a well done work. We need more like it my friend.
Wow Glenn , Thank You. I am working on trying to get a more live sound on my recordings. I envy your sonic abilities not to mention your cool playing and great cmelodies and changes. I am wondering, do you also play the keys on your tracks? Thanks again PEACE UE
