UE! Ok so the slow drag and swag feel! Nice! Sax melodies with the background vocals is very effective. The piano exit is phenomenal! Another fine example of over the top musicianship. You’re an upright bass beast. Peace.

UE! What I just listened to was a well balanced and thought out composition. From the string arrangement to the lovely piano and sprinkling of Rhodes. Here you managed to work in all of your favorite influences from jazz to pop and certain sections had an industrial feel. All in an ambient environment. The next step would be a visual concept. Exceptional work and creativity my friend.

Ah UE! You served those hats extra crispy just the way I like them. The synth melody made me think of a springtime breeze. And what a bright and boss horn arrangement. The bass groove is so in the cut it’s thrilling. I throughly enjoyed this listen. Keep doing what you do the way you’re supposed to my friend. Peace.

Thanks for the listen MT. You know its always appreciated. I think this Logic Pro may take soe time to delve in deep. In the meantime I hope to keep being inspired. Thanks for noticing the horns. The last section in between piano solos is my fav. THANKS AGAIN. STAY COOL. UE

UE! Yep! Mellowness personified. Excellent guitar choices. The bass line is so so good. Also the brass arrangement crowns this fine achievement. Ok so yeah keep it flowing. You have per my ears reached the next level. Peace.

Nice and smoky and mellow. Interestingly, I hit the section that Manuela wasn't a fan of but in contrast, and prior to reading her comment, I thought the change up in rhythm was pretty cool.

Thanks for the listen and comments. I also don't mind the change, I find it somewhat surprising but a relief. So subjective! No wrong answers. Thanks again. UE

Hello, I have often spent nights in some hotel bar. When I listened to your song, the memories of it came back to me. Great! I love it when music lets me dream.
However, the stretch between about 3:15 and 4:20 is too contrasting for my taste. But luckily you found your way back to the beginning.
Kind regards Manuela

UE! Ok, this has a great feel. The horn arrangement is full on over the top. At 1:31 you're for a couple of notes, got me ready for 2:27's swing. The melodies at 2:45 is exactly what's up. The acoustic bass is walking and talking my language. The piano at 3:45 made me misty eyed! The sax and muted trumpet was lethal throughout. Exit on point. This is excellent work, UE. Peace.

Thanks so much for the listen and comments. I've noticed you as a listener. Appreciated. This one took me some time. As I said, trying to get some meaningful melodies and moments going. Sometimes, difficult with a one man sample band. Again, thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. UE

Hey BB. Thanks so much for taking the mm:ss: to listen and comment. It was really an emotional ride making this track. I tried some new reverb plugins that are awesome. Peter Gabriel ( new album is outstanding) and Ryuichi Sakamoto are and were two of my favorites. Hoping I did a bit of justice by being on the giant'ss shoulders. Thanks Again UE

UE! You done did it again. The UE groove is in full effect! The smooth twist and turns are all signature from you. Mini Grand? you throughly tickled those virtual ivorys like a BOSS! I'm totally into those revisited changes that start at about 0:33 and throughout. Then this section at the 2 miniute mark is LETHAL my friend. At 2:20 you went BEAST MODE with that groove! Now I'm gonna have to call the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for the move you did at 2:39! Yep right to your front door! And you cant hide LOL! If you are by any chance looking at palm trees.......I'm sending them there too! THIS IS MAGNIFENCENT! FAVED!

Thanks man. How are you? I always appreciate your detailed comment. I'm so glad you liked this tune. I spent a lot of time with it try to make better music and better mixes. The Piano Plug in I'm loving these days is from AIR Technologies GmbH called Mini Piano. Really simple not alot of options but a real nice sounding responsive piano.
Thanks again man. Peace UE

UE! Ok so this is a really great composition. That saturation on the upper HZ of the drum kit is extra crispy. The piano and bells made me a little misty around the old eye balls……..excuse me while I get a Kleenex. Ok UE you’re one bad music making machine. Now for the Purdie shuffle……….. wonderfully executed my friend. My first exposure to the Purdie shuffle was on The Late Great Aretha Franklins Rock Steady. Fast forward to the 80s with Steely Dan. Also I had an Album by the group Hummingbird where Bernard was practically the front man! He was such a beast in that group I wanted to have him arrested for being too funky! Peace!

Thanks Mark! I appreciate you taking the time and your awesome comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the piece. I remember the band "Hummingbird". I'm going to do a refresh listen. Babylon Sisters is one of my favorite shuffle examples. So "LA"! Steve Gadd is another of my fav drummers. Check out his new album, I believe it is live. A tune called "Any Moment Now". The album is a study in minimalism. Thanks again UE

UE you make great music. Those brushes are in there. The acoustic bass work is serious business. @1:35 definitely a momentary urban vibe but for the rest a nice laid back ride down the country way with a serious pinch of sophistication. You know like if Mercedes made a pick up truck LOL!. The way you placed the background vocals in the mix is musical mastery. And I’m really loving all the progressions and changes throughout. An Awesomely good and impressive production my friend.

WOW! Thanks Mark. The comparison to a Mercedes pick-up truck is hilarious. Thanks for the attention to detail in your comments. Wow... this was really nice! For a song that's 6:08 it didn't feel that long. Smooth but with the changes, the sax and fretless bass soloing does give the track a "Fusion Edge." The mellow keys and groove rounds out the song to make it a very enjoyable listening experience. So glad to return after my long hiatus to find cats like yourself & Mark doing great jazz music. And it inspires me to do the same, very nice and a fav.
