I like the up beat and positive feel to this. You really should add some vocals, it begs for them. Nice job.
Gord

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

I know right. But it's hard to find vocals that fit.. And obviously it's hard to ask anyone to try and make some acapellas for this tune too.. Idk.

Thanks for the review, much appreciated!

on Going Away by Areas(Original Mix) by Aereas

Well done. Mixing and instrument levels hit the spot. Also pretty nice kick, very punchy. Very nice mellow and easy going theme you got there.

P.s.
Is it okay for you if I tried to make remix of this?

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks man. Yeah its a very easy going track.
and yes, you may do a remix of it, as long as you write like:
Going Away by Areas(*your name* remix)

Give me your email and I'll send it to you :)

on Drifting Away by Aereas

Very chill. I like that it's not sedative though, it doesn't leave me wanting to pass out from over-relaxation. Well done.

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

I know right ;)
Thanks man. I didn't want it to be like "over-relaxation" either.

I really like this track, you can tell a lot of thought and time has been devoted to it and it shows. Great synth work, good breakdown/buildup .. my only comment would be to have a look at some of the levels. Have you tried maximus in your final mix? its a great tool and will sort some of the levels out for you automatically.

Great work

Oh, there's some great grooves on this track! Love the chill synths you've used to produce this! The drums sound awesome, especially those finger snaps! Great work on this track!

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks a bunch!
I've been on this project for a long time now, so I'm really proud to finally have it finished.

One of the best tracks I've heard on here so far. Very, very nice work. Just needs some shine, I'd love to do a version of this if you sent me the parts. I could get it sounding NICE.

Really impressed.

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thank you very much!
I've spent damn much time on this one, but time worth ;)
I'm glad you like it and all, but I just uploaded it so I might let it be online for a while before anyone would make any other versions of it, if you understand me. ;)
But I'll let you know when it's free to download and remix.

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks. I'm glad someone else but me that like it ;)
Hey, I've heard your 'pellas. If you're interested, post me one that fits into this track so I could mix it up.
(Only if you want to collaborate ofcourse)
It would be cool with your voice in my track.
Get it touch! Regards // Areas

on Drifting Away by Aereas

hi mate excellent work here has a lovely chillout vibe but could just as easily be a trance track!! well done my friend!!

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks man!
I was going to put it in the trance genre at first, maybe I'll change ;)
Thanks for the review, very much appreciated!

on It Is Our Future by Aereas

this track was fun to listen to. i'm not normally a trance kind of guy but i've been getting sucked into it a bit by songs like this. i like the variance of synth sounds you use and your percussion is cool too. unfortunately i am using horrible speakers because i'm moving and have stuff everywhere. when i leave work tonight i will plug in my nicest headphones and give it a proper listen.

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

I agree that you need some good speakers or headphones to hear the beauty of a song.
Thanks for the comment.

on It Is Our Future by Aereas

Very energetic and moving track.... I would raise the kick drum a little more but overall a good composition, keep it up!!!

Aereas replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks. I made the kick drum a little less "high pitch'd", because I think the kick usually takes over the song a bit. It's like, too much kick so that you don't hear all the great sounds in the track.

:)
