Rita this is so mysterious as it swerves round your emotions like voile curtains twisting in the breeze in dark rooms - v atmospheric and your voice is superb
Thank you so much.
I love to sing blues and soul but on the other side i love also dark songs and also non-standard . You have the same so you understand what i mean.
I dont usuallly like arabic Maqam Family keys but it works very well here Maqam Hijaz. and i love the AI element which would be nothing without you, reminded me of Marlene Dietrich. in a smoky room in Berlin.
Ho Nodog.
Thank you for your compliment. You know much about music and keys uhmm? I never hear about Maqam keys. A few people mentioned Marlene Dietrich but i cant hear it myself.
hello Rita, I've not had time for a while for music, lifes just busy but i'm good, i have a bag of tracks wrote too just not recorded anything. its ok tho, nice work on the track as always lady whether you use Suno or not your still creating, AI is all over music these days , all the daws now have a mastering AI built in FL has one its good and I assume it will get bigger and better with new things added and extra tweaking abilities, your a recognised artist here, we know you make good beats, but if your more comfortable on other beats, go for it, its what makes you happy most not what others think, lots of the biggest producer on the planet use it now, i prefer other peoples beats too before mine everytime to be truthful, to get everything spot on is time consuming and as hobbyists, many of us don't have that time, i only wish i did but like you, I'm to old and more importantly, i don't think I'm good enough, to make a penny from it i aint got the voice lol
Hi Paul.
I don't sing well enough to put any more money into it either. So Suno is a cheap solution. In my situation, music is my best distraction, so I keep going. One after the other, lol.
I'm sure I'll hear you again too.
You enjoy it and indeed see it as a very fun hobby.
Of course, I do sometimes think... what if I had known at a younger age that I could sing a little. What if I had had singing lessons back then? I've been singing for about 2 years now, which started very softly and with a few phrases. 6 years starting to make beats. But considering my age, I am proud of what I can do now.
Hello Rita, this is great stuff lady, its done very well and imaginative with the vocals in the background and music softly playing with your vocals alongside...its really cool
That's great! Doesn't that feel much better?
I loved this, and maybe one day you'll add your voice and I'll love it more. And wow, you've grown so much as an artist!!
Dubbelzinnig in mijn geval. Thanks Baobou.
Thanx Baobou. As i told Cyberflares i have the feeling that everybody didd grow with making beats but not me.I have tried building a beat using only loops. But that just doesn't feel right to me. Of course, I use music samples because I don't play any instruments, although I do sometimes make a tune with synths.
And of course, I have also used bits of a loop. But using only loops feels fake to me.And suddenly there are so many producers here on LM with the perfect professional beats ......and then my beats ...snap je?
first off sista you can make beats less of the i cant you can :)
second love the track and your vocals as always are great
third get making beats again!!!!! :)
Thanx Robin :) Im glad you like my vocals and that you think that I also have to keep making beats. I do so now and then but it are beats i cant sing on.You grow a lot with your beats and there are now many profesional beatmakers on LM. My beats are still simple and i refuse to build a beat on just loops.
Yes indeed, Rita you are such a creative soul and this track proves it, I luv this track, heard it and had to comment Great! stuff here your vocals are sincere and compelling...Keep up the Creative streak had to comment on this while I got the time, Impressed! haha you Go sister!
Rita, you put some time into this one, didn't you? Your instrumentation and arrangement here is sublime. I'm not sure where you found the backing vocal tracks, but I'm glad you did. Along with your vocals, it's like a fine blend of jasmine and black pepper. Smooth and intoxicating on the surface, but theres a subtle bite underneath that keeps it alive.
With that being said, one thing I noticed is that you've started bringing your vocals further up in the mix instead of ducking them behind the beat. That tells me your confidence in your own voice has grown. That's a good thing, Rita. You should be proud.
I know you know me as Rita making beats, but I wasn't good enough to make beats for myself to sing along to, although I do have a few.
At first, I got beats from YouTube with copyright protection, which you actually have to buy. I'm not that good enough to pay for that.
So I took out a cheap subscription to Suno and have beats made there for which I own the rights.
This beat is also from Suno.
I really should write that in the description. You're right that I've gained more and more self-confidence, although I still have my ups and downs. Thanks for your time and compliment.

And of course, I have also used bits of a loop. But using only loops feels fake to me.And suddenly there are so many producers here on LM with the perfect professional beats ......and then my beats ...snap je?
