Rita: I thought this was a great track. Your vocal really worked well with the beat. It definitely had a "Leonard Cohen" vibe to it, which is high praise - particularly coming from a Canadian! :) I agree with Manuela. Your singing has most definitely evolved and with this kind of track, you have found a "niche" that seems to fit very nicely.

It was a beautiful message this one, and unfortunately it is almost common. My perception about friendship really changed after a reading of an old small book wrote by Alberto Moravia. It is called "Sette Raconti" in Italian, which means "Seven Stories". I believe you can find it in English or perhaps in Duch which is your native language. What I truly kept about friendship is this....you need a friend to be happy for you when you achieve your goals and life seems to give to you what you seek for, be it a nice family, or success, or welth, or health and beautiful dreams...It is so essential for a person to be of help in our hard moments of life but there is point and it is masterfuly explained to one of these little stories of Moravia.
We need companions in our lives and we first have to feel empathy. Perhaps this way we can share dreams and life.
You have worked well on this song. What was a bit difficult to listen to, was when you had to sing over those voices.
Anyhow, your vocals are to the point and I hope it made you feel better.

Mrs i think your voice and delivery have improved so much, there's alot of confidence in your vocals now because i think you now believe you can do it, and you do it justice alright and as long as your not making commercial from the YouTube track its fair game to be used i've used loads before, but i separate all the stems and add my own FX etc, if you ever got a break on someone elses beat you just buy the licence or lease it anyway. as long as your enjoying yourself, thats the only important thing and LM has changed we lost loads after the update too, the days of everyone sharing ideas and giving constructive advice are gone and with it a lot of experience, nice work yet again

i like the way you convey the emotion of false friendship - I call them 'Fairweather Friends' - they want you when they are getting something out of you but when you want a reciprocal, fair share of energies, they disappear - it is disheartening but you learn not to give your energy away like salt and pepper intuitively and to recognise your worth through such experiences - as your song says, 'you were just lessons'. The softer voice you are using, highlights the irritation and that resigned 'yeh, whatever' feeling of knowing where you are at. A different and original subject matter and a great tune. Kay
