Very shaky latin like beat, I don't know if I'd have put it in this song but that's your choice.
Some interesting different synths in here and I like the way it changes at different points.
I don't know if I'd have called it Techno, it sounds more Hip-Hop to me, but on the whole it's an interesting production.
At first i thought your voice was really that deep at first i was going to freak out like WHAT THE HELL! lol but anyways it doesnt matter about your color man, hip hop is a universal art and lifestyle, so if you really wanted to get better, just write everyday, or freestyle against people. thats what i did, but i know it was a joke like you said, so you dont have to take my advice. anyways, i like the beat alot though, it could be mixed better however. a couple of highs could be boosted and a little increase on the bass wouldnt hurt. about 30hz with at least a 2 to 3 db gain. but it depends on what type of bass most of the time. anyways, enough of me talking. cool track! peace
Haha glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I'm glad you see it was a joke. It was almost irony because I'm going to keep rapping and such, this one was supposed to be a spoof. But not all will be and my other stuff will be good disproving my own statement. I'll see what I can do about the mastering. Thanks!
Nice, love the piano melody :) Excellent vocals as well. Really good production quality :)
I reckon it could do with a quiet sub bass at some point, like summit you dont notice, but just feel it. love the track :)
What bpm is it at?
Y'know I ALWAYS check out a track when it says it's a "jazz" track, and very few of them actually sound like real jazz, with swing and a moving chord progression and so on... this one is an exception! Love the different sections and love the horns. Very nice classic jazzy feel. did you use live drums?
i did not use live drums i used just some typical loops but edited them a tad to match my needs. I appriciate you stoppin by man and im thoroughly glad you enjoyed it!
some really nice ideas...I would have loved to have heard a nice record crackle over the whole track to give it that coltraine feel ya know?...nice track I enjoyed it ...keep 'em coming brother
I was just browsing through your tracks but I didn't expect you to do rock and jazz and stuff? lol I don't deserve to review tracks like that.. It's just not my thing..
So, off to this track,
lol is that you beatboxing ?
real nice bro!
The transitions sound a little off at times but I don't think that's important since it's in the 'weird' genre :D
Good stuff man ;)
The strings are the best!
Did I hear the lyrics "I'm all out of rap" correctly? Because that would be awesome. Okay, I'm further into the song and this is hilarious. The deep voice [did you just lower the pitch?] sounds excellent. If I could I'd use that effect on my own voice in my daily life. My only advice would be what Fayz said - bring the vocals up front a bit more. The beat is more than competent, but it's the vocals that make this song.
Yes you most certainly did hear that correctly. Haha. Yes I just lowered the pitch, rather simply in fact. I'm glad you enjoyed it becuase more should be coming like this in the future.
Nice mix of sounds, even caught one of my guitar loops in there as well which is cool, to help with some of the transitions you should try a cymbal swell or something of the sorts, I think it will help transition a few parts.
Another cool track, it sounds that you had a lot of fun and me, I tappin' my feet.
One thing, I wish that the sax were more present. It sounds a bit boxed in, like it comes through a an old radio while the rest of the band feels like I'm in that room. The rhodes is really in that room.
And man, well played and I'm envious of your talent. This one is a definite fav.

Haha well thats the funny thing is i added some effects on the sax but the same effects sounded awful on everything else. wanted kindof an old radio sound. Will be fixin it up shortly. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanx for the review.
Loving this sound. The message in the track is sitting at bang on the right level for me. Emphasising the important parts with trail away echoes on the vocal is a very neat touch. Definitely not your typical Christian shake a tambourine style song. Which in my opinion is what makes it work.
You've made my favourites..
I relate to this song having broken the rules myself and suffered.
Hey man I truly appriciate the positive review. I'm glad you found it to be distanced from Christian norm, seeing as that was my goal. I'm also very glad you liked the message and thank you very much for the fav.
Love that chant, well positioned. There were a few places I thought a nice scream would have fit and one or two places where I might have added sqwueeling tires.
