i like that raunchy a** wobble you got going.
deff need to work on mastering your track.
balancing out the tracks.
the snare and wobble are overpowering/drowning out everything.
not tryin to sound like a d*ck, so please dont take it that way.
this track has the potential for a good tune.
one thing that will help is tryin to balance EQs.
listen to the track over and over again and figure out which sounds are posed to stick out and which you want in the background.
im not a pro at mastering in reason, honestly i dont even know how.
all in all, its a good track homie!
fix those EQs and you got gold

Yo dude this is way different, which is cool in my book. Vox start to sound pretty distorted late in the track, but that may be intentional. Nice one dog!
yea ur actually a descent mc compared to what else ive heard on here. haha. Peep some of my tracks, i got one instrumental, give it a quick flow haha..
hi thaddeus, all your tracks have a strong base but need some drum rolls ans fills into the breakdowns, some more drum variations to keep it interisting would be nice think chorus and verse make the same drum but a bit different.
cheers from the base
..all fine points made by Number. if you are concerned with your work not being identified as dubstep, you should definitely take his opinion into consideration.
i, however, think this is a wicked piece on its own sans the confines of a genre. your bass is naughty. i love the slowness; the drag of it is terribly refreshing. i will ahve to wait to comment on the drums, as i am listening to this at work in sh*tty headphones, but i liked what i heard.
cant wait to hear more from you!
:)
thank you so much, i always strive to get that sound down, its a fun struggle :), your comments are encouraging and tons appreciated,im keeping em coming for sure, thanks again for the review!
ok .. there are some great ideas here brother.. instead of a review where I repeat myself.. I'm gonna point ya in to this web site.. the tutorials are excellent..
ok for me there are some nice ideas here but.. the drum track is to high in your mix so the listener finds it harder to hear anything else.. dubstep is normally set at about 140bpm so this track does sound a little too slow.. ya wobbles are nice but they have no thickness try adding a sub using the same pattern and it'll add that thickness you'll hear from most of the greats.. like I said there are some nice ideas here brother it maybe just needs abit more research and work.. keep 'em coming
word thanks bro! i noticed i needed a sub in there just couldnt figure it :), the 2 drum machines i use are set at 1/16 and 1/32 creating a 70bpm/140bpm split cause 70's one half of 140 see. huge help man, much appreciated!
