Alright, man. I thought I'd stop by and check it out after you left such a positive comment over on my track. I am not disappointed. Not in the slightest. I don't really know anything about Trap, so I can't say anything in regards to that. But, from my perspective and taking it for what it is, it's good.
I can get on board with just about anything if it's dark enough. This is dark enough.
Honestly, it reminds me of Aphex Twin in some aspects. Which is a compliment.
The mix is top notch. Nothing overcrowds anything else. your frequencies are separated enough so there's no heavy overlapping. The panning and effects are balanced well. Nice work, man!
Man, thank you. Trust me, ur time is appreciated. Im always glad to hear comments on my mixing, which has been one of the things Ive strived hard to perfect this year. Cuz then i know Im speaking to someone who understands how difficult mixing can be. Im happy youre here making your music, the variety and skill in this community amazes me sometimes. Anyway, much appreciated dude. - Aaron
hey, Thanks man! I really appreciate u taking the time to listen. I definitely will keep cooking, man. Ive got alot I want to share, but each song has to finish cooking, so to speak.
u were checking out my work at the same time i was yours lol. Ive just completed all of the songs for my Cinematic Beats prject, as soon as the artwork is done, Im going to offer it as a free download in a few places. (or for $10 on discord, itll come with a sample pack Ive put together, that was some friends of mines idea) Thanks for the love, bro
how did i miss this Aaron, fire dark menacing, Pnnywze showing big as always, that collab you talk of is coming next bro, your work is impressive and im really looking forward to hosting it,
i would like to get a community project going with more artists on one track like a chorus male and female main vocals backing singers with the best voices dominant, of course i'll sing but it'll be in the chorus only, unless i muster a good spoken, you know, few good musicians, songwriters and producers, see what we could achieve as a collective, just to try add a little fresh impetus, we could do big, the talent is here, we could even release it, do it as maybe a charity track highlighting important issues, but the lack of a forum holds that idea up, in fact it holds up progression for artist as a whole, yes it needed restructuring, but to remove it altogether is a huge mistake, im lucky enough to have most my links here private too, but trying for broader networking is impossible here now,
That sounds exactly what Ive been hoping for, Paul. Youre right, theres alot of talent here and we can lift each other up in many ways. Its a rare thing in these days of uncertainty and division. Discord and/or Reddit could be a solution to the forum issue, we could form our own discord that consists of members of this community, & it wouldnt be too difficult. Id be glad to be of service if we go that route, LMK & we can talk about that a bit more. And of course, thanks for the love. Im glad our song will be released soon, it deserves to be heard. talk to ya soon bro. - Aaron
hey brother, glad to hear from u. Speaking of drums, im going to be offering some free loops and samples here soon, Ive got some sample packs Ive made that i sell in my discord, but ive decided to create some for this communtity free of charge, and some of those will be drum loops and elements, if ever youre interested. Or if theres any way at all i can be of help to u, shoot me a msg. Ill be glad to help. Thanks, as always, for your time.
- Aaron
Hello Aaron
Very powerful what you have created here. I very much liked the left hand piano playing, it gives a nice sensation to your music. I also liked the way you used the voice samples and of course your rhythmic part which is so very trap oriented. I will listen to more of your songs, you create very interesting music
Wish you the best, Anthony
Thank you so much, man. The hardest thing to get sometimes is an audience, its even harder to get one who understands what youre saying with your music. My music defines me, its the one thing that has always been with me, and my musical journey has been unconventional, to say the least. The community here is working together more than ever, and it warms my heart to see. Thanks for ur time and for exploring some of my older work. Ive had to delete some of my older stuff to make room for newer, which sucks, so i have to make hard decisions sometimes. Im glad this stuff can still get recognition. Look forward to hearing from u again. - Aaron
Both tags are my newest, glad u like them lol. I'm going to start offering loops and samples soon, feel free to use whatever u like when that starts. Thanks for the support, bro. - Aaron
Excited to hear some colabs from you Aaron! I hope you do something with Pseudoble, I love his music, I think you guys could do something a little different together. Anyway, this ones deep and dark and sounds like a soundtrack for the end of the world. I think your stuff often has a cinematic, epic quality to it. Lots of gravitas!! och aye, Chris
Yeah, for sure. He sent me some stuff to go thru, it's next on the list. I hope to use it in some unexpected ways, later on in the week, be in the lookout for it. I try to make each piece like it was my last, and to try new things. It all adds up, over time. I'm having fun, and hopefully that translates to what is heard. Thanks for your support l, bro. - Aaron
Thanks, my dude. I like being in the Kitchen, and I was always told No Heat = Gtfo the kitchen. So I bring it as often as possible. Thanks for the support.
Class - once again you use trap beats whilst avoiding sounding stereotypical (which is sometimes an issue with trap in unskilled hands I reckon) . Love the interweaving melodies and all the subtle touches adding texture and colour.
Much appreciated my friend. This one i very much a kickback & chill track, I try to put as much visualization as possible into every piece i do. Sometimes it works out lol. Im happy to see so many peoples growth that Ive grown to admire i this community. As long as u put out stuff to hear, Ill be around to hear it man. - Aaron
Hi Aaron, I've struggled with trap so far, but you've given me a start here. I like how laid back the track is and those drums are really impressive. But the best part is the atmosphere... that ostinato background creates a really hypnotic feeling. This is great work... Chapeau!!!
Cheers, Micky
I love comments like this one man. I appreciate the listen 100%. Im hoping for some more collaborations here, as well, im open to any pitches...Oh, and part 2 to this one is going up in a moment
well, id be happy to collaborate with u on some stuff. Maybe send me a melody, some stems , etc, and ill put togther a bassline and some drums fon it for u and send it back to ya, or anything youd like to do, really, Im dedicated to true 50/50 work, and I Stay humble. Keeps my feet on the ground that way. anway, id like to make something u can be proud of, same goes for some others in the LM gang, Im fullof ideas, and im ready for more collaborations. thank u, as always, for listening. - Aaron
Hi
It's not weird or unusual for me to put something on the beat that is a different style.
That's what makes it so unique and it proves that you can go in any direction with music and you don't necessarily have to stick to the music rules.
And you have now also put that proof here.
I also think the vocal could be a little louder, but otherwise it's good as it is. Well done mister.
Hello Rita, happy to hear from u today. I agree on the vocal volume, I used some software ihad never used before this time to do the mix, which turned out better using it, but i have to learn all the subtleties and nuances again as one always does when using unfamiliar software. It creates a better overall mix, but slightly dampens the vocals as a tradeoff. next mix Ill try and compenstate for that , itll click eventually lol. This one i can turn into stems and relayer them. which might give me a better result. sorry sometimes i can talk for days when it comes to music. Im happy to have u listen and comment again, Hopefully ill hear more stuff from u before too long. Youre another big piece of the best part of this community. Thank u Rita. - Aaron
fire again Aaron, i done a lot of work with great artist here and im too disappointed, i haven't done one of yours, i,ve got lots to come like the new one just posted, im now gonna concentrate on your work and write a banger, even if i have to shorten your work, or better still, i could do my stuff and you can master it.
dark and menacing unmistakably Pnnywze
i got to light this thunder you got
Thats what Im talking about man, Im trying my best to inspire, above all else. Ive always been waiting for when u were ready, anyway u want to do it, i can manage. i can master & rearrange when ur done, or I can customize tracks before hand. I purposely include a built in cheat code for vocalists in 99% of my songs - Nearly all of them are made in 130 BPM, or 140 bpm. This one is 130, vocals can be written and plotted out easily by using increments of time. oF COURSE, @ 130 BPM, A Bar is going to be 14.769 seconds long (7.385), then 29.538 seconds, then 59.076 seconds, and so on. It also may be easier cue sections of the song in your head if u break it down into specifically times parts...example:
Intro+beginning melody prog. = 14.769+29.539 seconds, folowed by Verse = 29.539 to 59.076 seconds, followed by chorus = 29.539 seconds, followed by Drop/breakdown/variation = 29.538 seconds, the verse 2 = and so on. Its not easy to try & explain stuff with only 3000 letters lol
Excellent sound in every aspect. Well done variations with the escalation at the third part. More epic at the first and third part, the middle one more or less like a subtractive painting. My overall conclusion is that I like your work, definitely a nice piece of music here
Best wishes, Anthony
Thanks alot , man. I appreciate u taking the time to check out my work. I have alot of other stuff uploaded, dating back to 2022, if u find some time to check some of that out too. And Im always extra happy when people umderstand my work, as well. I try to be as visual as possible using only sound, it can be a challenge, but id have it no other way. - Aaron
Thanks for checking out my work, man. Its much appreciated...btw u have a good ear, the pianos are all layered with reverse samples. so basically its both. i love the effect.
Hi Aaron
this is a cracker love that drums ive noticed your music has a dark side to it that i like lol oh that 808 in the 2nd part loving it looking forward to part two great work keep it up man :)
Yeah my music has always had a dark edge to it, and i really decided to lean into it when i created the Pnnywze Persona, back in 2013-14. Theres definitely been much trial and error since then tho lol! I had a blast making this piece (2 parts) i Think i saved the best for last, buz i lik the 2nd part a little more. Thanks for listening bro.
Oh yes, it is a good one.
You have incorporated the beautiful voice of Ms. Stone in your mix, in a seamless way. You could possibly give a bit more volume to the vocals track. I liked your work
Best wishes, Anthony
i'd start at the label or any of her personal social' its worth i try, she can only say no thank you, but she might just say um! let's see, like i said nothing to lose.
