I dig it. Sound design is fine, i like the breaks... You have solid compression, and everything hits hard but maybe too much head room? It should be a lot louder than this. (Not that loudness equals better necessarily. Overall pretty solid
This has an evil, sinister kind of vibe to it. Like I can picture Chucky from the old Child's Play movies dancing around to this. I like that sort of thing, so great job.
Sounds Solid But Could Use Some Eq'ing On The Reverse Part Low Mid.. If You Chopped The Breakdown Part At 1:24ish Off Set The Attack (Just A Lil) To Take Away The Pops And Make It Smooth.. But Either Way Still A Banger
Nice chill vibes with a beat that keeps your head bouncing, i like the contrast. Are all the instruments digital, or did you actually record drum and guitar? If I had to critique, the snare sounded real boxy, lot of mid freq buildup, but other than that this was a nice chill listen.
Yeah, I used some stock drums from the FPC Vst and replaced the snare with a kinda crappy sounding one, and layered it with a reverbed snare. I wasnt trying to mix so much so I just left it. The guitar sample I got off this site and all other melodies were in the Nexus 2(Steel drums, bass guitar, piano) or Xpand!2(the ocarina) vsts. Thanks for the listen.
Hey brother man dont apologize for them drums, theyre nice. We all start somewhere, but you got the lofi thing down swell. Turned into a little lofi trap at the end which was different but the sound is smooth. Good stuff
