Atesoro tus escuchas, amigo, ¡mantente bien!

MY goodness! this is well quirky! haha but I like it. This is a display of brilliantly thinking clean outside the box, very Avant-Garde indeed. Another mind trip of a track by you. A Very Inventive piece of musical art. Kudos.

ms. A! i’m moving to your rhythm, even tho you might not tell from this track! it’s an old tale — i love looking to those stories for inspiration!

Well that was different! Text to voice synth? Interesting. The voice sounds like something from star wars. The words were cool and with that effect on them it really went well with the sounds and effects you created.

I've come to expect a "no holds barred" type of approach to your music, which always makes a listen an experience. Thanks!

thank you for such kind words, Wayne! that voice kills me — who would develop an english text to japanese accented voice? that’s no holds barred!

Love the glitch and the quirky vox and the various gorgeous very musical interludes and variety of instruments and sounds, amazingly it all holds together very well despite the disparate elements - masterful work

Nice work mate - I think we are on a similar learning curve - except you are ahead of me! - I hear many of the things I like and some of the same questions I have ...I mean questions around how to introduce a little more variety and structure but how in doing so not loose the edge or sense of novelty in the track

ian, you are too kind to give these tracks a listen and comment, mate! this one especially is calling me back to it … whether to sharpen or blur remains to be seen! i would kill to get the space and definition of your sounds!

Great track - wonderful sound with the hats and keys - I wasnt expecting the vox but it lightens up the tone well, suspect I would have gone dark

Just working my way through your catalogue - stealing some brief moments when I get a chance to listen : )

Who are these holes of asses? Well, I was expecting something really bad. I was pleasantly pleased by this one. Nice chill sound man. Great job and respect for rocking some hybrid-style country.

Cheers!

I'd try adding some strings to spice the progression up a little bru. Nice, melodic piece.

sublime simplicity, at least on the face of it. it does all it needs to, tugs at the heart strings with an uplifting sadness. well thats what i think anyway :)

that’s the crucial thing with me is fighting the urge to overplay — things start going right, i get excited, now it’s all fucked up. and a loopstation’s unforgiving. so your comment means a lot!

Salud y paz.

Ballad of an asshole...Hmmm must be some Ballad because it sure doesn't sound like it, judging by this you certainly captured something spectacular!...sounds lovely this has those heart pulling elements similar but not the same obviously as the gentlemen sir robin (CF) has running through his music. Nonetheless this is very good! work here as always. Pulchra Musica.

hello ms. A of the everchanging avatar! (you’re a bit of a Scheherazade!) haha, i am that good sir’s squire, i know all about him but i can’t talk here…
err i mean how flattering, really!
i’m so happy to hear your latest tracks, you are just as magic as your avatar, seemingly appearing at will in any musical setting you choose and playing hell out of it. i’ve had the good fortune to chat a bit with mickey/monkwee and he’s been a big fav so i was so surprised and happy. to catch that collab, he must be really chuffed!

Hi maestro Michael,

the fantastic intro was like from Blade Runner! Tony Williams and Jaco dropping by ... If you had told me about it before I would have said no way this won't work. But it does! A wonderfully entertaining journey.

Peace,

Wow as out there as this is, you can hear the underlying threads that keep this together. But just a wow my friend. 5:48 that sustained note fading was my fav part as it leads into something unique and well dynamically mastered. A Masterpiece of psychedelic sounds. 7:17 made me feel like I just woke up in an Onsen. And that chiptune ending was just taking the piss on all our minds ehh! brilliant!

thank you, Steven! it begs a lot of indulgence, and i’m really grateful for the listen. i wanted to experiment with longer sound sources and spent a lot of very pleasurable time ‘curating’ these sounds. my spirit guides on this were that bastard out of scotland who i’m mad at for being a genius and john oswald’s mix of the dead playing darkstar (talk about indulgence).
cheers, man!

I like the title, just watched the Revenant movie with DeCaprio the other day. Crazy movie with all sorts of low and high points in it, some dreamlike scenes, some flashback scenes, some emotional and some shockingly honest.

I could possibly use that same description on this track. Some introspective parts and some mind tripping parts as well.

Cool!

thank ye, Wayne! i read the book, highly recommended— i ain’t caught the whole flick yet, but i know there are some crucial differences that make for thought-provoking contrasts. hadn’t been thinking on that when the title came upon me, but yep, i’m adopting that. many thanks!
