To help:I think if you transpose the musicto Cm instead of Gm, I think you should be golden. Again, my silly way of listening to music, feel free to ignore. Have fun!

Sorry, that was very harsh, and I should have explained what I meant. Your loop is I think in Gm, eg Gm Eb Dm. However he repeatedly sings a couple notes that don't really fit in that chord progression, including an Ab that stickjs out to me.
Another example is at 1:36 where the Eb he sings doesn't match what I hear in the music (Gm).
Anyway, my ears, my opinion, if you disagree that's great of course. Keep making music!
