Hey there. I am wondering if I could have your permission to use this clip for a webseries I am making. It really works well with what I am going for. If you want more information just let me know. Thank you

Some truly hars guitar work. I'll have to get around to more of your music in the future.

that sounds like something off of a zombie movie, you know the part where the party is trying to get to another part, put someone messes up and attracts the horde, so they gotta fight. very interesting choice to not go with any percussion. it just build and builds with tension till that low frequency at the end pops it. i really like it.

It's more out of laziness and lack of knowledge of drum patterns than choice that I do not have percussion.

really digging the 09Aug2010 set of dark anbience/drone metals - the tracks really work well together, but here i've landed in the middle track as a fav - dunno if there was intention behind it but this one works like a pivot for me - great sounds + sensibilities

There is usually very little intention in any of my music making, I mostly just experiment and put samples through various VST plugins, trying to find something I like or find interesting.

on Pret(ty)(int)en(se)tious by flyindevil
I'm gonna go with "Pretty Instense" and not "pretentious" (it took me a few seconds to figure that out. I initially thought you just like unnecesarry brackets)(like I do)(I'm kidding). Okay now onto the song - this is indeed intense but in a brooding, atmospheric way as most drone/ambient tunes are. I love the big guitar(?) sounds and I'm guessing you must;ve you've a lot of reverb on everything because I can't really figure out what those sounds are. But what I do know is that I like this track. Good job.

on I Care For (the) Nothing(ness) by flyindevil
From my point of view, this is ambient. I see this track longer with few more bits and pieces, but then again, the track fits exceptionally well with the name of the track...
Keep it coming.

I agree that it needs something more. I'm not quite sure what yet, but I will continue to experiment with this track.

on Processed Percussion (aka Mutilated Beats) by flyindevil
This reminds me of drums on old 80s and 90s electronic toys! This is a really unique style of percussion mutilation. Very enjoyable!

It's really cool to hear some experimental noises on this site! Makes me wonder how you created all the wierd drones. I like how you've used effects on this track. And it's nice and loud, in your face. Nice work!

on White Noises by flyindevil
That's what I'm trying to convey... I believe your intent was to "wreck" my spine. You DID wreck my spine. I had a physical reaction to this piece. To me, THAT is what an artist is supposed to do... evoke emotions. YOU did THAT! :)
Your track is not bad... it is pure art & emotion.

This is very difficult to listen to, BUT I am amazed at how full and loud you made the track. That to me is not easy to do.
This track rubbed me the wrong way. Then again, I'm sure Black Sabbath's music rubbed many people the wrong way at first also.
flyindevil
flyindevil replied Unknown
I understand how "difficult to listen to" it is.
It's not meant to be a soft, ethereal ambient song.
It's meant to be a slightly scary, disturbing piece of drone-noise music.
People said the same thing about black metal, and look how many people over the world listen to that genre now!
