It's a short documentary about a mentally disabled man in 1960 in Louisiana that was accused of murdering a woman and was put into a state hospital. He was never charged with the murder because there was no evidence he did it and a lot of evidence proving he didn't. The killer was never found. He spent years in the mental institution until he got into a fight with another patient and ended up killing them. He then spent the rest of his life in prison. It's not overtly political, but he was a falsely accused disabled black man and that can certainly be seen as political in this climate. We interviewed his living family members and the the granddaughter of the woman that was murdered. I'm the editor and my politics according to the political compass test are in the center. I'm not personally very political. I'm just into love and truth. I have friends and family across the political spectrum. However, I'm not the director and I cannot speak to her politics or agenda. All that being said, I love the track and think it would help create an artsy feel during some of the family interviews. Those interviews could definitely be seen as life, death, and memories. Thank you for your time and consideration. Cheers!
Great track! May I please use this in a video I'm working on? I will of course give you full credit and link here if that's where you'd like me link. If you have a website I can link there instead. Just let me know if it's cool. Thank you!
Thanks! So, what this video is all about? See, I don't
want my music to be used in any political context,
but rather something personal, as it is all about
life, death, memories, something romantic, and so on.
really enjoyed listening to this. the melody would be haunting ata slower tempo, but instead creates a strange sorta off-kilter vibe over the hypnotic rhythm that really works
