Ok... I love the arrangement. I love the guitar tones especially the stabs on the 4 & the reverse guitar tone & 3 note melody line. I'd like to hear this with a real drummer because of the hi hat work. The e-drums aren't quite conveying the feeling this great track deserves IMO. I'd also like to hear that back beat guitar turned up in the mix a bit. That tympani-like sample needs to stay right where it is IMO!
You could seriously hold your own in a nice wine bar or smokey club.. Dude,--- if I was in any bar, and I heard this MIX start to play
I would get up, and double check every jukebox just to find out who wrote/made it/performed it..

You're always so kind to my beats :) Thanks, dude. I put this in Jungle cuz that's what the drumloop was labled as, a "jungle" beat (???). But I guess it doesn't matter, really. Thanks again! Luv ya!
Oh I wouldn't call this Jungle. Yes it has a jungle ambient background but not Jungle genre. It's actually a very nice ambient piece. Almost jazz since the tempo is little faster than many ambient pieces. I like the chorus. I enjoyed listening to this one. Send us more ambient. :)
This is a lovely piece to quote MrE. Very pretty and easy to listen to. It's ballad material I also agree. Very nice piano (I'm always partial to piano) and that guitar goes perfectly. The piano seems a little bright to me in the mix. I think if it could match the timbre of the guitar it would even be better. But very beautiful nonetheless.
Thanks French :) A little secret about the guitar part...it's the same one I played for "All Figured Out", just tweaked it a bit to fit this track. Funny how some riffs are recyclable lol. Glad you liked the song, and I'll pass along the vocal compliment to Asli!
Thanks jfw :) She does have a great voice, perfect for that neo-soul sound. It's a catchy hook, too! Can't get it outa your head lol. And that's all her, lyrics/melody. I did the vocal arrangement, but the singing talent is all her! Thanks again!
Hi Cyrus, having made this track one of my favorites and now having listened to it numerous times - this is currently my favorite track on Looperman to date.
Awww, thanks! It's a 'feel-good' track lol In fact, Asli Orcen has been working on some lyrics for it. As soon as we get some things recorded, I'll definitely post them. Trying to recoup from a back injury right now, tho, and can't sit at the PC long enough to be productive. Soon, tho! I'm gettin there! lol Thanks again, jfw. :)
Thanks Peppermint :) Hopefully it's not too creepy lolol. It's supposed to be for a comedy! lol! I love the bass, too. It reminds me of the old bass wars in the late 80's, early 90's when ppl started having the real booming stereo systems. That's kind of what I was going for, anyway, as part of the comedy. Glad you liked it and thanks for the review!
Yo i like this a lot! i'm really diggin those cinematic stings you got there! but i think you should change up the kick and snare he and there, other then that i think it's damn nere perfect
Hey C I'm back for more and I really like what I hear real soulfull track, all its missing is a very strong blues soul vocal over it a la M J Blidge, thats who I was hearing in my head through the track as I was listening, great mood job here, love the discrete but very good guitar work. Peace Love and Freedom to disguise ourself not only on Halloween.
Thanks Pete :) Like I said in the description, the guitar part was orginally played by Bemused Stranger, but for some reason it wouldn't loop right when I downloaded it. It didn't want to sync up with the metronome, so I just replayed it myself, but it's his riff. Thanks again for listening!
I really like the production on this, great soundscape, this is really close to the style I identify with most, got me interested all the way through great arrangments and structure, everything just completes everything else, I hope you understand what I mean. english is not my first language, nothing steps on nothing musically everything is at its place, sound simple but not so simple to do, great track again in the fav bin.
great groove, before there was melody there was beat, and the rest glides on it, really cool and hot. The proof tha a short track leaving you wanting more es better than a good track too long. See its my turn to have fun.
I feel like I'm chilling in DC at the eighteenth street lounge, turning to the beautiful person next to me and asking, "damn...who is this we're listing too right now?" Thanks for sharing, your tracks are very pleasant.
this's a really great track... i was actually tipped off by my girlfriend to it. she doesn't have an account, but she was searching around after i went on a little rant about the lack of female talent on here. (yeah, there's some. but too many are just eye candy.) so, after a bit, she sent me a link to this... and it definitely shut me up. keep up the great work... i look forward to hearing more.
Thanks for the review. And yeah, this site in particular has a lot of female production talent as well as singers. You might wanna check out Eshar and Holly, but there are more. Thanks again for the comments!
this is a nice relaxing track, if you let me get this track somehow for the free i'll play it for you at the skating rink where i dj, if you want. i think the people here will love it. this is the perfect chill track to play on a friday and saterday night. what do you say?
Sure! And thanks for the review! I'll check out your page and get your info. If you like this one, then "All Figured Out" might be a good one for you as well. Thanks again!
not bad at all, id like to hear a few more hip hop tracks that are guitar laden on here. if you want someone to put words on it let me know, i was writing something the other day that just may fit. keep it up, ill keep my ears open
