Yhea i been stuuuuuupid busy lately, started new job, and working 2 hours away from my house (for about a month, its construction, so after that it'll change) so the dayz are loooong, just working 8 hours but after that 4 hours with it, make for 12 hour dayz when i get home, i just wanna smoke a jay and chiiil, haha, but that never happens...
Im glad u asked about the sample cauz i was quite pleased with myself on this beat and a few other ones i do the same... Basically is what i will do is walk around downtown vancouver and hit up EVERY musician playing on the streets, guit, flute, voks, whatever, if they are standing on the corner im there, and some have CDs cheap ones they've made, and i ALWAYS buy them... its good idea i thought because for one, i am supporting local musicians and guetting some RARE sample material... haha my secret is out... only because i am telling you ;)
For this song all i used were 2 seperate sample about half a second long of guitar, basicall 2 notes, 1 each, u can hear it in part of the beat... the rest i just did my thang thang ran sum fx, eq, and sequenced in n out with em, and other instruments i played on my midi controller...
You gotta hear the song for this its almost dun, its gon b bomb!!!

(check out my use of the same aca track but I used also another of her aca and used her words to say something different, I think its still on my profile its Dimanche Matin but the vocal version, I just took the vocals and laid them on top of something that I had already composed, it was in the right key, I think, lol, sounded right to me. Diggin this one, like the dark feel. The thunder was nice touch....I think u added it a good amount...some people can go overboard. But it has a nice limit.
