I really like this track. I think I've really been pulled into loving strings lately. I love the strings in this and the changes in the notes. Changes are always a great plus to me. Love it.
Thanks alot man for the review, much appreciated! I'm glad you like the strings & note changes...I was really trying to make this an authentic R&B song and I think it turned out real well, thanks again!
I wanna start out by saying this is a fantastic mix!! This is my favorite of yours so far!! (I havent listened to all of them yet) but this is great. NUADA made a great point about changing up the chord progression. Maybe if you cut out the main chords and put in a series of single notes it would open the track up, so that when those main chords do drop, it will raise your hair up. Just a thought, but in all honesty, this track is absoultely A grade. Not much to dislike. Very good work!!
Thanks you Thomas for that review, always appreciated!! I'm glad you like this track as it's one of my favorites and most fun to make! I completely understand about changing up the chord progression...I may go back and experiment with this track but i'm glad you enjoyed this track, "A Grade"...that means alot so thanks for that!!
A truley enjoyable track,
The only thing I would suggest is to fill out that drum pattern more, the snares you used to give it that hip hop feel sounded great, but I think it could really benefit from having it drop in to a series of hats, with a handclap or something.
Overall:
This track obviously took a lot of skill to make, the switch ups you had in here were PHENOMONAL. I like the synths that came in to aid that piano rhodes kinda sound...The intro was solid. 2 words, EAR APPEALING!! Good work!!
-Thomas Swanson
Thomas thanks you much for the review, much appreciated!! I get what you mean about filling out the drum pattern, I went through many different ways on how to go about the instrumentation. That snare used was a combination of a snare & hand clap actually lol...I had the clap by itself but opted for a more defined sound. I'm glad you like the synths & switch ups, something I do in most of my tracks...thanks again!!
Thanks for the review Damien, much appreciated!! The fact that you think it sounds professional makes me feel great..I spent a long time making sure everything had the proper volume levels and was clear to the ear before mastering the final product. Thanks again!
Really cool!! It steps into the first verse very nicely. And solid intro!
It really would be opened up with some vocals, I imagine a female singer on it, someone like Rihanna or Vannasa Hudgens
Hey Thomas, thanks for the review man, much appreciated! I love the intro as well, I also imagined a female singer on the chorus and I could totally hear Rhianna on this, so good call on that! Thanks Again!
Hey Bob, thanks alot for taking the time to throw a review my way, much appreciated! I'm glad you enjoyed the sounds throughout as I took my time to make sure everything would mesh cohesively in the track. I also appreciate the fact that you think it has a classical minor sound...if you want, give the original a listen...thanks again!
Hey David, I like this track. I can see multiple artist use this or at least some parts of it, like what MaxJC said for example. I would tell you more... but I kind of just woke, lol. Anyways, the piano and the violin was a good touch from the first track. It has a dark feel like the first track. It kind of has a bit of Hip-hop in there. Great job.
Hey Bobby, thanks for the review, always appreciated! It's good to hear that you could see many different artists on this track as that's the basic appeal I go for with my music. I was actually thinking of One Republic's song "Apologize" when I created this track lol, Thanks Again!
Thanks alot bro for the review, always appreciated! After listening to this a few times, I can see the "Chris Brown instrumental" remark because he does have songs with a similar feel, so thanks for that!
I like this a lot, really nice snare!!! And cool intro. Plesae check out my song "It Will Be Alright" i'm a teenage producer and I need all the reviews I can get!!
Hey John, thanks for the review, always a pleasure! I wanted to go into a different direction with this track, tried to do a hip-hop track that didn't sound "run-of-the-mill" and it turned out pretty good...Glad the track got you moving lol, Thanks again!!
Ahhh I came to take a listen and this beauty was the first song I clicked, sounds awesome dude! Im a big fan of FL Studio as well;) I really like the beat, Im not a dancer but if I was I'd move to this lol Keep up the hard work David, I'll be listening! Fave,
Nick "Ghostzyden"
Nick, thanks lot for the review, much appreciated!! I worked on this song for quite some time and was the first track I went into making with confidence, this is one of my favorites out and i'm glad you liked it as well, thanks again!
Epic! Lol I really enjoy dark sounding music, so this is right up my alley. Graveyard props bro (Gas station for me) Keep up the good work: Fave - Ghostzyden
Thank you much man for the review, always appreciated! I'm glad you liked the track, this track was my first attempt at making something a little dark and/or mysterious and I think it turned out pretty good, Thanks Again Bro!
Good to see you uploading tracks, again. I like the song you made. My favorite part started at 1:17. I had to listen to that part forward a couple more times, because it sounded very familiar. I looked at my phone, and it sounds like Linkin Parks' Papercut. The track has a dark, robotic, Hip-hop feel to it... does that make sense? The beat between 2:47-3:12, seem a bit long to me. Keep up the good work, my friend.
Thanks Bobby for stopping past and throwing a review my way, always appreciated!! I also love @1:17, the synth used then is my favorite in the song. In reference to a certain part that sounded like Linkin Park's "Paper Cut", I have been listening to Linkin Park & Maroon 5 all week so maybe some of their influences came off in this track lol! I get what you mean when you say "Dark, Robotic, Hip-hop feel" and I actually had the beat between 2:47-3:12 shorter but when I played it back, I felt the verse wasn't long enough. Thanks again for the review/critique!
Thanks alot for checking out the track & review, much appreciated! I'm glad you like the various sounds throughout because at one point I thought thus track may have been a tad bit to busy, but after listen to it a few times, I like it as is, though i'm going to work on the bass. Thanks again!
Thanks alot man for taking the time to review, much appreciated! I definitely know what you mean, I was stuck on how to approach the bass that I just finished the rest of the track and left the bass alone, I'll be trying to re-work the bass-line tonight and hopefully have an update, thanks again!
I like the track, I think you've used some interesting elements, the synths in particular have a nice melodic sound. I'm not sure the bass has enough attitude to reflect the title of the track though...mind you I am a bass freak. On the whole good work.
Thank you much Elaine for the review, always appreciated! Funny what you mentioned about the bass, because I wasn't satisfied with the bass from the start of the track and even after I finished it. I was at a stalemate with how to go about the bass for this track. I'm going to tweak the bass-line tonight at work to see if I can get it to where I had envisioned it. Thanks Again for the review!
I don't know why I didn't review this the first time. I like the melody and the flow of the track. Nicely done. I started to sing to this, just for fun. You did a good job. Keep it up, my friend.
Thanks Bobby for the review, always appreciated!! I'm glad you like the track, i'm glad you liked it enough that it got you to sing a little lol! This has to be my absolute favorite track (at least until I finish the two tracks i'm working on now lol) A lot of work went into this one so thanks again bro!
Thanks a lot bro for giving the track a listen and taking the time to throw a review my way! I'm glad you found it soothing in a way, as thats what I was going for with some of the synths used like the choir synth. Thanks again!

If you want to throw some vocals on this, your more than welcome to, just send me a message and let me know, I'll email the track to you...been working with some members here to get vocals on it but nothing ever fell through so it would be cool if you could.
Whats happnin Choki, had to stop by and get some of dat real hip hop sound runnin through my vains, and of course i stoped at the rihgt place.been busy mastering for folks. had to hit you up. i like all of this track.you are the king of putting sounds together.tight beat.be back soon pimp.PEACE.THE MACK MAN OUT.
Thanks Mack for the awesome review, always a pleasure! I'm glad you are enjoying the sounds, I try to go left with my music...try to create tracks a little out of the box and this track definitely fits the bill! Thanks again!
I see a few reviews talking about adding a bit of a change up. If this is going to stay an instrumental, then a change up will be absolutley necessary because that what western music construction has caused us to expect. If you're adding vocals, and there's a changeup in vocal presentation, changing the backing track might because far less necessary.
Personally, I like it and I'd happily listen again.
Thank you John for you insight! I was going to have someone put vocals to it, but I'm going to keep it an instrumental for now. This does need a bit of a change up to it, and i've been slowly tweaking this track over 2 years now so i'll eventually get it to where it should be. I'm glad you like it and I appreciate your review!
You nailed that bass line. Well done! Also, I really appreciate the chill vibe from this song. Good call. Something that makes it so nice is that your percussion is clean. Except your kick has a little flab in it (which is fine if that's the real-kit style you're going for). Orchestral is a nice-sounding synth, and you used it well. On the intro pad, perhaps cut the ends of those phrases more abruptly and use longer decay on the reverb to wash the transitions. That should get rid of the "clicking" releases.
David thanks for the awesome review, totally appreciate it! I'm glad you like the bassline as that was the hardest part of the song to create lol! I understand what you said about the intro pad, I also had a hard time figuring out how to get rid of the clicks towards the end of it, but nothing has worked...I'll keep your advise in mind when I have time to edit the track. Thanks again!
Thanks alot for the review, I really appreciate it! I tried my best at the time to play around with new themes and really give this a dark tone, thanks again!
Thanks alot ScreenPlay for the review, much appreciated!! Relaxing was something I was going for with this track and think I've achieved my overall goal, thanks again!
I appreciate the review/suggestion! When making the track, I originally had the bell synth in a higher pitch like you mentioned, but it didn't fit with the overall sound of the track so I took the pitch down.
