The melody isn't yours, is it? I'm pretty sure I've heard it before...

Finally found it. It's called C-Sharp by The Quest. I have a mix by OS/2 with that song on it. I literally went through my entire library to find it.

No, you are correct. I had heard this melody before but have altered it just slightly to create more elaborate pads with. I will cite correctly through the description.

intro was awesome! great production ;) it really set the atmosphere for me! and the quick spit added that paradox (soft mellow melodies against the paced urgent vox)
