Good job dude. I see you tried to get that superbassy feeling for your kick. There's a trick to this. This took me a while to learn. If i had to take an educated guess i would say you doubled up your kick sequence to give it more power. This will work to a degree but doing this will also take away other frequencies that are using that hz level. If you just put more volume or gain to it to get that effect I would back it back off, then try experimenting with sub bass levels, not the actual kick. There are many ways to do this but a quick way is to bring the kick into an editor such as cooledit or something, then filter everything out of it besides sub frequencies. In order to do this you need a stereo or amp that can handle sub frequencies or you just won't hear anything. then just save as a new file and overlap this over the original kick. This way you aren't overstocking frequency ranges you are actually using a lower one instead. With some tinkering and time you will get the effect. And be sure to listen to your track on as many different stereos and devices as you can. Right now I'm on a friends system. He has crappy speakers so the song kinda grumbles a lot because of gain levels and his speakers inability to make sense of it. On my studio speakers at home it might sound wonderful. So test it everywhere you can. Also look into layering for the keyboards. it will give more depth and help fill "empty space". Good job though. I wouldn't have written so much if I didn't think you as an artist wasn't worth it. So keep at it. If you have any more questions feel free to drop me a line and I'll help the best I can. wow this is the longest review I have ever given. congrats!
Haha there should always be a first time :P
Very much thanks i really appreciate it for the useful info, my problem is i only listen many times to a track with my speakers. When i think it's good i save it and then i listen with my headset, if i find that okej i let it as it be. Because if i want to listen to more audio systems with a track i must put it on a CD or usb for my car (for some reason i dont want to put my usb out of my car right now). Layering is not really my strongest side but i try it all out... Anyway thanks for youre time and comment.
I really like this one! It has a very unique composition, which defies the usual standards of what we think of as hardcore. I'm very impressed with the rawness of this track! Thanks for pleasing my ears! I'm glad I listened!
It's crying out for a 4x4 kickdrum man, the vocal is out of tune with the song too. Needs some work man, but potentially a good track. Just needs more work on structure that vocal removed and a 4x4 kick throughout and it will take a little more shape. But hey, that's just my opinion. Keep them coming man.
EDIT: yeah 4x4 kick drum is the classic sounding kick drum pattern in hard core and dance stuff. Means 4 kicks in a bar, so a kick drum every beat. Don't have to do that, but that's the classic method, and that's what I'd do. Hope it helps mate.
4x4 Kickdrum? True but i liked the vocal so i putted in the song :)
I appreciate all the comments and specially the bad comments coz from the bad comments i learn the most.
Whoa - that is some hardstyle tune, man! Very alternative variations to say the least and when that over-driven bass kicks in....well - the track is just totally crazy. Very interesting indeed. Greetz, --Davey--
do you mean the inspiration?
i want to make a long time a song against jump (when i found the right vocals) i decided to make a song against jump :)
