Aw DJSLTUK that's sweet. Great work by all involved in making this. The volume seems a little low, but production is great! Nice and mellow. Hope you find a vocalist. :-)
Thank you Wayne. I have nothing important to say about this tune. Recorded with friends a long time ago. Just fun to add two "light" loops from Rhodesy and Zacwilkins. Just a happy tune.
Very strategically placed vocals, very much so fine with me! Sorry I didn't see this before now. Loving the grooviness of this. Live is always the best way to go, it feels natural and you don't get a lot of that anymore. Great job to all! :-) And very good for your first tune! :-)
personally, I dig it in this form...very uplifting, show like, "concert mood" song with that small jokes like the clap after the guitar solo...:-)
absolutelly cool song from the band
Tee hee, better than mama's arms. What royalnation said. If there is a way to make the vocal a little clearer so we can understand the lyrics better, that'd be cool. Good stuff! :-) Love it!
Hello Patricia and thank you for the comment. This song was recorded a long time ago with friends. I did a new mastering and add two short guitar loops. Not possible to make the vocal parts louder! Thanks again Miss.
Very classy and modern, jazz fusion track!Really tasteful playing all over the place.
Great low piano note at 0:48. Nice, plaintive sax. I guess that's from Slapjohnson.
My only criticisms are that perhaps the drums are too repetitive and could do with a bit more variety. That and at 4:17 there's a lot of noise. Is that on the Hammond organ?
Hello and a big thank you for the very gentle comment. Hey! You are absolutely right about the repetitive drum beat. I always started to compose with my own straight drum beat and I spent more time to find nice harmonies than developing the groove. I will do differently for the future tracks because of your very clever comment! Thanks again. Cheers and beats. Laurent (sorry for my english, I speak french!)
brilliant as always your works Laurent...perfect, professional work in every level...my only complain is that too short...maybe another guitar solo into the madness at the end? but that's only me...faved, dl of course (and thanx for that)
Hello Danke and thank you very much for the very gentle comment. You are right... short song, but the original is even shorter. Funny about another guitar solo at the end because Laurent Schwaar, the guitarist who plays also on this tune told me exactly the same thing! So I will try to double the end. Thanks again for the comment and thanks also for your excellent loops. Cheers and beats. Laurent
