Very interesting effort from both parts...the guitarish 3rd is the winner for me but all my hats off cause it's real ambience...

I dont know a thing about eq either. I know how to increase bass and mids thats it. I really like this. I would love to add a little of my style to it if it is ok. if not thats good too. not sure if I could add anything to enhance, my ears are looking for something but sure what. either way I like this. the bass is great.

You're welcome to do something with it, mindheist. If you do, how about posting a link here?

Thanks!

Lowering the tempo and a bit of EQ here and there could actually make a decent track out of this. A track on wich sober people could dance too :D

Good comment, and thanks. It is sort of fun to imagine myself on the dance floor with this under my feet.
PS: I don't understand a blinking thing about EQ. I'm really trying, I swear! :D

This is such an interesting piece.

In my opinion, it gives the sense of someone searching for answers deep inside themselves.

I really liked the hint of strings around 1:00

Well done!

This sounds like reflection music. Like somebody going thru the motions and witnessing something in themselves while looking in the mirror or a body of water. Very creative.

Mr. McKenzie, thanks! I went to your tracks and listened before replying. (It's good to know where someone's coming from.) You've got depth, man. (You also have the broadest vocabulary I've heard in any rap, and you make it work!)

Interesting ideas Arbus. Really enjoying the crazy licks and the effects. As far as mixing goes, it just seems that the levels are softer in the first two thirds than in the last. Perhaps you did two different sessions? I have been there (electronically - not live). Best wishes. Dan

Thanks, midisparks. Yes, I actually did the bottom third prior to the first two. Good ear!
